I hope they don’t waste the WM Backlash Cody attire on an elite. The navy pants and white coat looked so damn clean. Needs to be an UE assuming we don’t get the plastic coat with the elite. Even then, I’d prefer a cloth robe or molded sleeves UE a la Bret Hart

If it stays this light. Only thing before xmas is elite 99. Gonna be a cheap Christmas lol. With my switch to only collecting essentially 96-01 WCW, it’s been a more enjoyable experience and easier to maintain financially. I can focus in on certain figures. |

The WWE champions mobile game just added Captain Lou Albano as a playable character. Doesn't automatically mean he would get a figure but it is a pretty good sign they might have the rights to make one.

And even if the type of deal that got him into the game isn't the same type of deal that would allow Mattel to make a figure of him, it's a good first step that could lead to that kind of deal. Now if Chalk Line hints of a Captain Lou jacket, then it's go time. If Mattel does have the rights to make him, his first in the line figure will definitely be in the Coliseum Collection. The WWE champions mobile game just added Captain Lou Albano as a playable character. Doesn't automatically mean he would get a figure but it is a pretty good sign they might have the rights to make one. It is a possibility that his estate signed a legends deal. Eric Bischoff, Mr. T and Greg Valentine were included in the game before Mattel announced there figures. But there are 3 legends that either never had a Mattel fig (Peter Maivia, Gobbledy Gooker) or had Mattel figs but only many years ago(Great Khali). Maivia passed away 40 years ago, so it's hard to find a spot for him because he couldn't sell well,Gooker is not possible at the moment(according to Steve) and I doubt that a new Great Khali figure has priority for Mattel since he had a few figures. |

Captain Lou is long over due. I’d like him in his ljn WM/2 outfit.
Hopefully both Steiners will get made, but if we have to settle for just Rick, I’ll take what we can get. They need to make all of his looks/eras

The Classic Superstars line went DEEP and at this point it almost feels like Mattel has exhausted its list of legends they can make. My understanding is that Jakks could go out and get deals directly with the wrestlers whereas Mattel has to get WWE's approval, but I could be mistaken (just seems I have read that lots over the years on the forums). |
