LWO wasn’t made because of some historical moment though. LWO was made because Mattel Creations is able to offer us these characters and sets that may not be possible to offer in stores. Hence an elite Imperium 2 pack. This elite Imperium 2-pack proves that a moment isn’t what drives their decisions. They could have easily made this a 3-pack, but they decided to make it a 2-pack. If anything, that even further proves the point that we can get more characters without some additional significance because it probably would have sold better with a matching Gunther and they still chose to make it a 2-pack(just to note, I don’t actually consider Imperium to be lesser character like some others here do). Steve and Bill have literally said that the set idea was created to celebrate their involvement at Backlash in Puerto Rico. Gear worn at Backlash to commemorate the event, etc. Yeah… obviously. If they’re going to make the LWO then the obvious choice would be to make the LWO from their most high profile match. But they didn’t only make them because of the match. They wanted to get us figures of the LWO. That’s my point. The fact that they made LWO means that they will be able to offer characters like that moving forward and it’s further proven with the upcoming Imperium set. |

On a related topic, how about an Invasion era Stephanie? A smirking or mean-looking headscan would capture her character best IMO. Or Mattel could perhaps rework the Milkomania "drenched" head into a regular Stephanie head, hard to tell but it looks a great likeness to me. Just totally don't get why that year and era is so cold. Like surely a heel Austin is an easy elite release too?? I think the 2012 RSC exclusive SCSA is actually based off his 2001 heel run as it has the red and black Bionic vest that he wore a lot during that time period. Of course, another heel Austin with a silver vest instead of the red one would be a good choice as well for when they inevitably release another black trunks Austin down the line |

Surely we're in need of a '01 Triple H by now right? A proper '01 Taker and Angle too. I still don't understand why we haven't been getting more Angles, either Basic or Elite, coming out way despite him being back on a Legends deal for a while now. They need to strike while the iron is hot and pump out figures of him, from 2006 black singlet "Wrestling Machine" Kurt to 2001 Invasion blue/white/gold singlet Kurt and everything in between. Dude has so many iconic looks and a large enough fanbase that he will sell if they would just bother to release more figures of him. 01 Taker with the red haired braid is long overdue as well. Though I think for 01 Triple H we have the gold trunks hHh one from the Jeff Hardy elite 2-pack, as well as the recent basic 2-pack with Austin in street clothes |

No one ever said that it HAD to be a 3-pack. You were treating it like a 3-pack or nothing. We are getting Imperium on Mattel Creations. You didn't think that was possible because they didn't have a "historical moment." Well... it's happening. And that's great news! It's really surprising to see Mattel not releasing an Imperium-3-Pack in Elite form. I've said it several times before, with the upcoming European PLEs and popularity clearly on the rise again, Mattel is missing a huge opportunity here. There used to be at least some basic 3-packs, I'd be happy with even that. It's not like Gunther and Kaiser are warming the stores. Seriously, do you just not read full posts on the forum? It’s what me and the other member were discussing. The likelihood of a Imperium 3-pack. I said no likely, then LWO was brought up as a comparison. Hence the “historical moment”. Because highly doubt we’d ever see Del Toro/Wilde Elites if this 5-pack wasn’t created. My main point was that there were still no Elites of Vinci & Kaiser. They reuinted at Clash of the Castle, Gunther & Kaiser were already paired together. I'm totally fine with it just being a 2-Pack which is kinda surprising to me but if they release more TT it makes sense and I can 100% accept this decision since there will be more Gunthers released. |

It's crazy how if you want a walmart figure you either get lucky and find it, pay double from Paul, pay more than double from some scalper or rely on a friend.
Target figures? Find in stores. Order for shipping. Order for pickup. Figures go on sale and eventually clearance and most people still have a shot.

I’ve hit 3 and I’m on the westside of Cleveland. Nothing. It sucks man. I just want a Taker and Austin. I coughed up 55 for Taker and about 60 each for Hall and Hogan on the secondary market. I should not have to do this. I know I’m not going to find these things otherwise. It’s sad. |

Is that Roman scan new or is the same one one from like 4 years ago? The beard looks thicker I think it's new and was supposed to come with the his latest Ultimate figure until they ran into a production issue. |
