Question, what does the word “chase” mean in fig terms? I see that thrown around a lot but don’t know what it is

I see that thrown around a lot but don’t know what it is Means when a figure/look is packed fewer than normal. For instance, you're more likely to find the White Pants Elite 93 Ricky Steamboat than the Yellow Pants Ricky of the same wave because of distribution amount. Let's say hypothetically out of the 6 cases a store gets, only 2 of them have the Yellow Pants variant, making it the hardest figure to find in the wave. You have to "Chase" around in order to find it since it's less likely to appear. |

A chase is typically a variant of a figure released in the same set but in smaller numbers. In a wrestling line, usually that means a repaint of a wrestler with different ring gear.
