Couple of things. Either It's an employee buying/returning them. Or The customer service person is friends with someone returning them. Or Customer service is a ditz. It's either 1 or all 3. AINT NO  ING WAY A SANE PERSON WOULD ACCEPT THOSE RETURNS. NO ING WAY. Knowing people who have worked at Target and other retail stores, they just don’t get paid enough or treated well enough to even begin to care. That's true, but probably why they don't get paid enough. Target is one of the top retail establishment that offers the best in retail. $15/hour for a cashier, easy money for a lax job. |

Beyond the fact that most real workers A. Don't care, B. Don't even know or care that fig swaps are a thing, and C. Most likely wouldn't notice, believe it or not, they're usually trained and instructed not to escalate issues with customers AND if they did it rule likely lead to issues for them, especially if the customer attempting the return makes a massive scene.

I just realized they didn’t even do the flag on E102 Gunther’s trunks, just a white stripe. I wonder why?

If they don’t think it’s the right item they can contact a manager. A store can refuse to return something that isn’t even the right item. I can tell you from experience that most workers wouldn’t want to go through that hassle, especially because there are managers who will still just take the exchange back and chastise them for doing it for what is in the grand scheme an inconsequential item. |

What about Uncle Bob who actually buys one of “re-packs” and then is told by Nephew Nick that Bret Hart has Shinske’s arms. Then Uncle Bob or Nephew Nick goes to return it. The returner may not even be the thief. Odds are they are but you really can’t say so beyond a reasonable doubt.

I just realized they didn’t even do the flag on E102 Gunther’s trunks, just a white stripe. I wonder why? because the Austrian flag looks like this 🇦🇹 plus the trunks are already red so it would be difficult for them to do red on red but they could of done one of the reds a bit lighter or darker to make it look like the flag |

If I don’t even find it it’s not gonna be a huge loss but I do really want it for the collection I am in a different boat where I was able to order an Andre when they briefly were up on Amazon for retail. Figure arrived, in great condition, and it was the chase. I still need one to open (regular), and am hoping to find one in the wild. |

Saw a post on Instagram saying there is an error on the Target website that the new UE Bret and Legends 18 aren't set to come in-stock until September 15th. That explains why these are all over stores but unable to be found or ordered on the app.
Not sure how we could even go about correcting the issue. We could all try contacting Target support, but its sort of a complicated issue and I wouldn't know how to explain it to a customer service rep.
But I am pretty annoyed that I can't search for these figures in my area using the store pick-up function on my app. I've been stopping by numerous Targets trying to get Legends 18. Luckily I was able to find the Bret on my own this weekend.

Listening to one of those podcast that Steve did the other day someone asked when will we see another CHASE in the Ultimate Edition line.. and he said in one of the upcoming retailer exclusive lines.
Please Mattel do not give Walmart any type of Chase figure. It’s already going to be hard enough getting the regular figures from that line.
