I think the safe bets are as follows; Hart Foundation (Bret Hart (anchor) & Jim Neidhart) Macho Man Randy Savage (anchor) and Miss Elizabeth (?) Unknown (anchor) and Captain Lou Albano .... unless we think Captain Lou would be considered an "anchor", especially if it's the "First In the Line"situation.... I'm honestly not sure who to pair Captain Lou with. I could see them doing a red & yellow Hogan..... I'd like to see them do Vince McMahon, but I doubt they'd do two non-wrestlers. Ultimate Warrior (anchor) and Honky Tonk Man I agree on Honky Tonk Man/Warrior and Harts. Hercules could be another option for Warrior if they sign him. Since they want an anchor and there aren't that many, I would be shocked if they planned any managers.I think it will be Macho/Steamboat unless they consider Steamboat an anchor. If they didn't care about anchors, Steele/Liz (besides Liz/Macho) would have been another good combo, HTM/Jimmy Hart, Hogan/Freddie Blassie, Andre/Heenan. I wonder how they view people like Bam Bam, Steamboat, HTM, Brutus, M$M. I feel like they could be anchors, but Mattel probably feels differently (other than maybe M$M). I don't think Captain Lou will be an anchor unless he is a SDCC exclusive with Cyndi Lauper and/or Wendi Richter. Oh I think we'll see some managers in the Coliseum Collection. They probably just want to flesh out the line with wrestlers first. At 4 figures a year, it might take a little while.... And I think Captain Lou Albano is a MUST, his LJN was one of the classics, I think.... It'd be wonderful if they could also give us a Slick and a Mr. Fuji as well.... |

I really wish they wouldn't concern themselves too much with needing an anchor for every set. I think this line would do fine if they put people together that made sense (teams, feuds, manager/wrestler). Besides, how many guys that had an LJN figure would they really consider an anchor? Hogan, Macho, Andre, Warrior, Piper, Jake? Maybe DiBiase, Honky, Steamboat, Duggan? That doesn't really leave a lot of options for sets. If they are going to do teams, not every team from that time period had a member that would be considered an anchor: Volkoff & Sheik, Killer Bees, Strike Force, Demolition, Powers of Pain, Dream Team, etc. I'd much rather have the team members in the same set than mixing and matching. If they had the rights to both guys, Bam Bam Bigelow and the One Mang Gang would be a great set, so to would a Billy Jack Haynes and Hercules. |

Series 3 had preorders cancelled and seems like only a small amount hit stores. We have a little less than 7 months left and we are supposed to get 3 more series this year. I doubt they are released every 2 months. Past history has shown limited quantities are ordered from Walmart once a line is ending and some never hit (like Scorpion King Rock). |

It’s weird how we haven’t had a Latino Heat Eddie. We got the Hall Of Fame figure with the Latino Heat shirt, but that was definitely a WCW Eddie, right? Or am I crazy?
