AJ Styles, Dingo Warrior, and both Ken Shamrocks are the ones I'm definitely looking forward to the most! Those Ken Shamrocks in particular are giving me nostalgia vibes, because of the first two WWF Smackdown games.

Minimal paint differences in hbk. Wish they did one with a full jacket and not a re-do of the vest. Pass.
Dingo and AJ easy passes.
Definitely need Shamrock but can't decide green or blue or both.

Dingo is a must. I'd consider Shawn but I'm happy with the WM7 one. Shamrock came out great too, he's outside my usual years for collecting.
Overall a good series. Although the execution on AJ's face is kinda bad.

Blue trunks Shamrock is the chase? That's Shamrock's most iconic look and shouldn't be the chase Mattel. Now the green trunks Shamrock was at the end of his WWF run and should have been the chase.

Only one that mildly interests me is blue Shamrock. But as I'd be buying from overseas, I can't really do returns, and I can't shop in-store, so the risk of ending up with a green one is too likely, hence I'll have to pass.
I do have the red Shamrock already, but blue is the colour I remember him wearing most.
I feel like, if they were trying to keep budget down, this would have been a good time to release Survivor Series 2002 Shawn Michaels. Fairly bland tights and a look that most people won't pay over the odds for as an ultimate or such, so would have been a good filler piece in here.
AJ Styles and Warrior are both passes for me. Like Shawn and Shamrock, I have them in the collection already and none of the attire/era choices do anything for me. I'm very surprised that they may a full series where none of the figures really take my interest. Lucky Americans - you'll have them all on clearance, I'd say.

AJ is the easiest purchase in years, especially since it's going to be Head Swap Central around here once it hits. Might have to get one MOC it looks so.....Phenomenal

The Dingo attire seems to be a mashup between the below photo and a tag match with Tony Atlas (which can be found on the Network). Not sure why they didn't just give him the blue wrist bands and blue knee pads or go with the full attire from the Atlas match, unless they have a photo for reference of that I don't know of. Baffles me that they would potentially pick his debut match as the alt head, given that it doesn't match the colour scheme of the Dingo figure at all... And then also botch the colours. The paint is clearly yellow and black. |
