I had it in my card and started the process within a couple of seconds of the link going live. It wasn't a must have for me, but I really don't get how Mattel can't/won't produce enough of these to even attempt to meet demand. That's what I've been debating this past week though. Comic Cons have exclusives. It's just reality. Some people, not all, like exclusivity ... or special rare items. If Mattel made hundreds of thousands of these it wouldn't be special at all. You have to cap the number available. And with everyone in the world able to buy them at the same time ... it sells out fast.

Its really sad when people who are willing to spend the money on a product are unable to get at least one of the product. Instead of sending this set out to all the bloggers, toyfig reviewers and photo sites, mattel should have made them buy it the same way others do and wait in the queue. On instagram, there must have been about 10 or more figure or photographer sites who had this in hand and posted pics as soon as it was announced.
The whole wait in line and then have the items not available is a joke and defeats the purpose. Also the last minute turned into around 3 minutes and then it sold out.
Mattel needs to follow Necas lead as their exclusives were way easier to get this year than previous years. Neca also had their items for order weeks before SDCC.

It's like Mattel / Jazwares etc like giving scalpers money. There must have been next to none of these to sell out in 2 mins - so make more = more money. Even enough to cover the demand for 30 mins It's that dear sweet hype, this kind of thing isn't for us to enjoy, it's a marketing ploy so the media talks about quick it sold out and how rare and valuable it is, tacky crap like that gold Mario Kart hot wheel that goes for over a thousand dollars while the line barely moves at retail

We're definitely getting more zeus I don’t think so. If we were I’m sure he would’ve been shown yesterday. That’s my opinion anyway If they had shown more zeus figures, it would've taken away from the mystique of this exclusive. And some people probably would've passed on this exclusive knowing they can get another Zeus for retail without all the hassle.

You win some you lose some, I got 2x Slaughters last year, missed out this year. It sucks but thats what makes limited items special, they're limited.

With no streams and limited availability of exclusive figures, it feels this is really meant for those who are able to make to the show in person. Any online sales no guarantees at all. I hoped it would be easier to snag the exclusives after Slaughter selling out so fast last year but that doesn't seem to be the case and I am doubtful they will increase the number of exclusives figures available to the public going forward. Even with an opportunity to sell more and make more $ they seem to want to keep these things as exclusive possible.

And anything that’s exclusive is too attractive for scalpers Maybe it was just Zeus then some true collectors would hold off but a 2-pack with Hogan is a Guaranteed sale

So even being there in person isnt a guarantee.

That’s my opinion anyway I don't know how the individual licenses work but I would hope that by signing Zeus, they have permission to make more than one figure. There are some great options for him: Hogan-Zeus SummerSlam '89 two pack with both in wrestling gear Another RSC exclusive of them in street gear (Hogan in red/black Rip costume, Zeus in the denim/prison shirt costume) Even Zeus as a single Elite at some point shouldn't be out of the question, or if you want a really deep cut, there's his WCW Z-Gangsta gimmick. Hell look at how many Mr T's we've been subjected to. They gotta make Deebo for the Hollywood series

Seems like Mattel likes to make them exclusive enough to give resellers a market. I don't see why they cant just give the line a time limit (10 mins?) and if you get in you get one and if you cant get in the line you are out of luck. If they made a limited number just make some more for the extras. But I think this is catering to the resellers as much as anything. Hopefully the Coliseum Collection will have more of the bugs ironed out, if they are bugs and not as intended.

Don’t go buying those things for double the price on eBay right now. Let the prices come to you. They’ll be plenty. Definitely lol, a lot of emotional purchases are happening right now Seems like Mattel likes to make them exclusive enough to give resellers a market. Hopefully the Coliseum Collection will have more of the bugs ironed out, if they are bugs and not as intended. Premium Bandai has sellouts like this every year for sdcc items, except it takes 2 hours to find out the item's sold out, then a week later they open up preorders for another run 6 months later, it's not like we're unfamiliar with waiting 6-12 for wwe mattel UE figures already

There’s always enough RSC exclusives for everyone to get one, not sure why Comic Con shouldn’t be the same
If they only do this kind of thing once a year with the con exclusive it will only be slightly annoying, but if every Creations item is gonna be like this then that’s just terrible business and not any better than that piece of trash they called MattyCollector was
