Have you ever hit a dead end in a job search where you feel like no matter where you try to go you feel/become glued to your current job.

Plenty of times. You mean like feeling that your job is useless or stuck in that job? If so yeah, for me it's a matter of purpose. Most of the jobs I've done felt like a waste of time. Although, I won't lie I try to make the best of those moments. I'm just going there for a paycheck. I think it's a matter of purpose. I read a lot of books and listen to podcasts and someone said something along the lines of "Until you meet your purpose, you won't be satisfied in life". I think finding your purpose gives you a sense of reason, but also overall happiness especially if you're getting paid to do something you love. Sometimes that also requires time alone, removing distractions and toxic people. I'm currently doing that myself. I've learned a lot about people throughout many of my workplaces. Not everyone has the same drive, goals or even mindsets. The wrong type of crowd could steer you in the wrong direction, in a sense we're sort of like sponges. We absorb a lot of the things around us. Anyways, that's the end of my speech.

Yeah, I really could use a new job. I'm pretty sick of mine.

Many, many, many times. It's just the way it is, unfortunately. Something will come up for you eventually.

That's where I'm at right now. I need to get out of this sh*thole company I work for but I'm coming up short on everything. It's a pain in the ass.

It takes a crap load of time and your mental health has to be on point. Changing my situation at the moment.

Have you ever hit a dead end in a job search where you feel like no matter where you try to go you feel/become glued to your current job. Another factor is the amount of people who will gas light you. That's why your mental health has to be literally perfect.

I literally don't care where I work, I'll just take the highest wages available to me. I'm just waiting to retire.

Back in 2020 when I got laid off from the car dealer, I had to start the Job Search all over again. I applied to all sorts of places, not many would call me back for an interview. I did get several interviews at some stores but most ended up with me not getting hired or hearing from them again. It was in 2021 that I started to get the interviews. The worst interview I had was for the AutoZone warehouse. I actually walked out of that one. I had a job interview at TJ Maxx, they sent me a rejection letter afterward. I had a job interview at Dollar General, the manager told me that she had to rely on the district manager to approve my hire, that went nowhere. I also had a job interview for the local Amazon Fulfillment center which a person forced me into doing. I took the drug test and somehow there was an error in the drug test and after I sent my Med labels to their MRO, they ghosted me when I needed to retake the test. Fast forward to June of 2021, I applied at Dollar Tree and was immediately hired on the spot for stocking shelves. The job is in walking distance from my house. I wouldn't give up this job at all. I'm a perfect fit for the job. Don't give up, you will find a job eventually, just be patient.

Well boys, things actually took good turn. Very thankful to god.
I had a interview yesterday with a Armed Private Security Firm that went very well. If I qualify with my firearm, I have the job. So I foresure need to put in that work on tighting up on shooting. Because I can't say I was the jail's top shot officer for that. However they met my pay rate, gave 50 cent increase and it's 30 minutes closer to home. Very good oppertunity in the private security scene that's exploding in my city. Downside is the private scene really doesn't offer health care.
I also have a interview today for Casino Security which is a giant step back in pace. It's a luxury resort and casino. And it's 25 cent pay increase; but it is only 20 minutes from my house. Not the biggest fan of the hours, I use to work those kinds of hours when I first became a Correction Officer at my first jail. This place does offer some level of government benefits, because the casino is a entity of the tribal government lolol.
I also still have my test with the Big Police Department for the Bureau of Prison Transport Officer. It's a payhit in the first year, however after the first year I go up to $2 pay increase over both jobs. I don't have to deal with being Police Officer or Correction Officer, I am somewhere inbetween both jobs. And I do great hit benefits and carry over my retirement plan from the other two county jails I have worked for.
So the only problem now is Job A) or Job B). And if I pass the PD's hiring process, do I take on Job C?

Have it now and it feels awful. I finished my university two years ago and since than didn't have a decent job for more than a months. I was a good student and thought it will be to issue to find a good job but obviously the reality is a little more difficult. As I am good in writing was thinking to apply for a job here - www.topessaywriting.org/literature-review-writing-service. Anyone knows something about it? Is it paid well?
