So, after the obvious, with Vince McMahon retiring/Khan & Steph co-CEO/Hunter now in charge of creative/and the rumoured TV-14 switch.
What’s next for good ol’ WWE? What are our expectations? What do we want to see?
Curious to see what everything thinks

They’re definitely on the right track. Already, the first Raw and SD under the new regime has had more wrestling than the recent average, and the wrestlers seem to be acting a bit more serious and adult-like.
Summerslam was fantastic. Probably had a lot to do with me being there but even then, I thought it was a good show.
Triple H seems to be excited and him being in charge has already started to show.
I think good times are ahead. I’m sure they’ll be smart and play the long game. Not a good idea to do a total revamp but I don’t think they need a total revamp. They mainly need to focus on better stories, more time for the matches and continue to invest in the stars and re-invest in the folks that can still become big stars.
I can say this.. I can’t wait for Cody’s return

One thing I loved at SummerSlam was how great Michael Cole was. He's an absolute professional with the mentality to get everything the company does over. He's the last guy in the company that needs to be produced, and obviously he was being produced to death until Saturday's PPV. He was so free and seemed to be riffing and enjoying himself. He gave a bit of a nod to Jeff Jarrett wrestling Flair on Sunday, name dropped Umaga, and gave one hell of a call for that main event between Brock and Roman.
Commentary might not mean a ton to some people but when its bad, it bogs down the action in the ring. I'm excited to see the subtle changes that happen because there's no longer a drawn out, exhausting, horrible process behind every single thing that talent does. I think its going to take weight off of the performers and make them a lot more comfortable to be themselves and to shine.
Also I think WALTER will be fat again.

Enough with the word censoring. Call them belts, title shots, hospitals & foreign objects. Maybe we'll see some blood?

All I need are longer, less heavily produced matches and less repetitive rematches. I can put up with damn near everything else.
That said I expect a few other changes to take place pretty damn quick. I expect a few big new hires to kick in the HHH regime, whether they're re-hires or others. (I dunno who else would really be available besides re-hires though lol. AEW locked down the rest of them long term). I expect a few big moments where they use words like wrestling, and belt. I expect a bit more grit in the very near future. Some of the changes will take a while to implement, but I expect a few big 'statement' type changes to say "hey, this is HHH's show now". Theory getting demolished twice at Summerslam felt like one haha.

if we can get compelling characters in stories that can be invested in that culminate in high profile matches, then we’re gold pony boy

I hope they actually invest in these storylines and not make them as predictable as it's been for years.
Give some guys the opportunity to shine.
Get rid of the generic themes.
Get rid of those damn logo belts and bring in some real designers to give us prestigious looking belts.
FINALLY, GET RID OF THOSE LAZY LED STAGES AND GIVE US SOME ACTUAL SETS THAT HAVE SOME THOUGHT TO THEM

The eventual return of Cody Rhodes. Which I assume to be a massive deal
Pushing some underutilized wrestlers
Probably weeding out some of the BS. Probably slowly. But still gotta have a popcorn match and something funny somewhere
Roman to become even more a massive star
The eventual debuts of MJF and Wardlow
Fun times ahead

Wardlow on the other hand I expect to be an AEW lifer. He's walked back on it just slightly, but he's said multiple times he wants to be in AEW for the long haul and is still very bitter about his tryout experience at WWE. Of course, nothing is certain and he has walked it back like 5% to "Hey, I suppose anything is possible but I'm really happy where I am and am not looking to leave". Either way, dude is gonna cash in HUUUUUGE on his next contract. Which is why it's so great both are an option, the big winner in those negotiations are Wardlow and MJF, as it should be!

I do believe both will end up there but I do agree MJF is pretty much a lock. I’m not sure when Wardlow’s contract is up but I just have a feeling about it. He’s a mix of Goldberg and Batista and I’d be willing to be Triple H likes what he sees. At least at this point. When was Wardlow’s WWE tryout?

I can definitely see Wardlow making the jump when that times comes,as long as guys like Cody and whoever comes next gets some what of the same treatment Cody's got since his return. From watching a lot of sports over the years,I don't pay a lot of attention to athletes when they're on a team(this case company) talking about if they're interested in going elsewhere or how happy they are there. Most of the times you get the run of the mill I wanna be here the rest of my career, never wanna leave, can't imagine being anywhere else etc. for the answer but who knows he might have that much of a bad taste in his mouth over his time there and means every word of it.
