I was one of the few that enjoyed Cody’s aew stuff even when it was at times cringe, and legit outside the summerslam main event the only wwe matches I’ve watched this year are his. happy to see him really come into his own, but it is funny how his loudest haters are now his biggest fans on here.
the hell in a cell match with the pec tear is literally one of the coolest things I’ve seen in wrestling in the last 15 years. showed the heart of a Rhodes, super baby face energy, really great stuff.

For those of you in the US, what's your take on this show? Is there a degree of interest due to a big show being held in the UK for the first time in 30 years or is it more like Crown Jewel to you? Just another big overseas show that doesn't really matter (unlike the bigger PPVs.) I'm going to the show and getting quite excited for it. About 65k tickets sold so it's gonna be ten times bigger than any house show I've been to here. No offense to our Welsh and European friends, but this. Just a glorified house show that won’t be horrible but it won’t be worth going out of my to watch either Gunther/Sheamus and Seth/Riddle got their dicks out for Cardiff. Excellent matches.

Being in the crowd for Drew/Reigns is something I'll probably remember for the rest of my life. They genuinely had me believe he was going to do it, more than once. I might be wrong, but watching it back they seem to have edited out a fair bit of the crowd interaction, which is a bit of a shame. Regardless, it was definitely a momentous occasion for us here in the UK and I only hope we don't have to wait so long for the next big stadium show.

The event and the atmosphere in Cardiff on Saturday in general was one of the best experiences of my life. It was so strange seeing the high street seem like a ghost town on Sunday considering how crazy it was 12 hours prior. I went with my manager and I had goosebumps telling people at work about Edge’s entrance when they asked about it 😂 I hope we get more UK stadium shows like this in the near future, it doesn’t even have to be a WrestleMania or SummerSlam but I’d definitely go again!

Hoping it ends up a yearly event. Have GUNTHER hold the Intercontinental title till then and drop it to someone like Dunne or Bate.

You guys deserve a yearly stadium show, at minimum. Always one of my favorite shows because the crowd is so invested.

Gunther vs Sheamus was incredible. One of the most hard hitting bouts I've ever seen. Sheamus had to have been sore the day after that one. Great to see the respect from the crowd for him afterwards too.

People boo who they’d normally cheer and cheer who'd they normally boo!

Watched Reigns vs Drew today. Good stuff but I was always expecting Reigns to go over I have to say. Also Fury shaking Reigns hand afterwards confused me no end.....but yeah good stuff in general.

Also Fury shaking Reigns hand afterwards confused me no end.....but yeah good stuff in general. I didn’t get that either. If Reigns won clean then sure, understandable. It’s like when Triple H hit Sting with the sledgehammer to win at Wrestlemania 31 then Sting offered the handshake. Makes no sense.

Not usually one to fawn over Meltzer's star rating, but really cool to see Gunther/Sheamus get the full 5 stars. Truly deserved, and the first time he's given 2 WWE matches 5 stars in the same year since 1997.
