I thought we could really use one of these considering each UE seems to get its own thread with pages of discussion. I also thought this would work as a good bulletin where I can edit this original post with things like preorder links, new images, DCPI's, etc. I'm a daily user of this forum and I love the Ultimate line, so I'm excited to attempt to keep all things UE organized into one thread!

I know people pointed out the running change of the bandana being in the bubble pack to the bandana being on the figure's head...but I never saw anyone talk about the running change to the box. Even though Iβm collecting every Ultimate and their chase versions, Iβm ok with not having every package variation. Not even bothered by international packaging not having the wrestlers profile on the back.

Quick little rundown of my UE history.
At first, I didnβt like the line. The torsos looked weird(still kinda do) and I didnβt want to pay $30 + tax for a wrestling toy. I slowly got into it with getting a Bret with a gift card and Triple H ringing up for $12 the only time I found him in stores. Got Ronda for cheap later on. Ordered HBK from RSC for around $35 way back when. Skipped several and never went back to obtain them(Warrior, Balor, Nakamura, etc) and didnβt really get heavy into the line until Hollywood Hogan. Iβd say overall I have 70% or so of the releases so far. I love the line and it has easily become my favorite Mattel WWE line. Hell, itβs my favorite wrestling figure line ever.
Iβm full force ahead. Iβll skip some here and there but I plan to get most of them. I have some characters x2 for loose display and MOC, but some of them Iβve just got the one for MOC.
The more ultimates the better. Canβt wait for the New Gen set and the upcoming Bret

Love Ultimates (especially the upcoming Legends of Macho, Bret, and Rock) and it sort of makes me want to not collect Elites anymore (despite the Elites getting double jointed elbows several waves back). The more Ultimates, the better IMO.

During my initial anger of Amazon cancelling Hogan after almost a year, I swore that I wouldn't buy the figure off of eBay, but I did.
Definitely something wrong with me.

started collecting wrestling figs in the past year, tried to avoid 6-inch modern figs for as long as i could, but i pretty much gave up after seeing the aew supreme line. then mattel showed off the colieseum collections and i just said  it, i can just get the top-tier lines of both companies. this way i get my taste of the modern style + the "complete" versions of wrestlers. so really i'm excited for the line and it's future. |
