Was the logo on his trunks actually a red RF too? Yes the trunks are accurate. So are the boots. He wore red logo trunks with white logo boots on the first Nitro. The kneepads are tough to tell. They're way darker than what we got, but they do look like there's some olive green in them to me.

So Flair never worse Yellow trunks with green knee pads? What’s the point of doing attires that were never a thing? miekina mash ups, brother I don't think Flair's a "mashup". Pretty sure it's fully his first Nitro gear (yellow on yellow, red logo on tights, white logos on boots) but the kneepads came out too bright. Fits the era of the shirt too. To me, a mashup mixes elements that never appeared together. This doesn't seem to be that. This seems to be more an example of going for a specific look and part of said look getting screwed up in production.

I mean if you were really going to do black knee pads, they’re not coming out bright green lol. And they already have black knee pads so those could have just been added. With history on how figures aren’t accurate , I’ll go with he just didn’t do his research.

Like, they did enough research to get the mismatched trunk and boot logo colors right, but not the kneepads?

I mean if I’m going to pay $25 for a figure, I would like for it to be done right, idc how weird it might be. especially something so easily fixable when you have the pieces to do It with. I mean google is free, it’s not hard to have things like that done right. Would you buy a Friday the 13th figure if it came without Jason’s mask? Or would you buy a Halloween Michael Myers figure if his jump suit was red instead of blue? Would you buy a Michael Myers figure if his boots were yellow? I didn’t think so.

I believe we concluded that his face paint/arm paint were from a different match and the pants were from another match as well. It’s kind of fun to piece these things together, but for those us that like specific match event attires or accuracy it’s annoying.

It’s not a problem if it was something understandable, but when it’s something like knee pads that is easily fixable why not just put black knee pads instead of green. And again, it wouldn’t be an issue if it didn’t happen all the time, this isn’t a once in a blue moon issue, this is an issue with 1-2 figures each set they throw out. You either enjoy the job you have or you’re just there for the money. It comes down to it that I think mattel messes these things like this up on purpose for people to buy basics to fix their mistakes. JMO

I think maybe someone is colorblind or maybe their computers are set to a different color CYMK/RGB setting and when they finalize the figure it comes out a different color. Actually, color is something that Mattel messes up frequently. It’s kind of odd.

I think the rest questions is how and why did we not get both of them stings in the line it would have been easy to get them slotted into any elite line
just like with this flair we should have gotten a green trunks variant chase version to go along with it.

You misunderstand me I think. I'm not saying it's okay or acceptable. Just that I think this was a straight up mistake and that they were trying to do Nitro 1 Ric Flair and screwed up the kneepads, as opposed to something like the recent Ultimate Jeff Hardy that was clearly a purposeful mashup where elements were knowingly taken from different gears.
