I don’t think they should revisit new generation for the next couple projects at least I kind of disagree. I think that's where the money is with the serious collectors.

I remember reading Steve say that the price point on crowdfunds will be the same or higher, so I have to wonder what a "pipers pit" or "barber shop" would feature to get that kind of amount and backers! I really think it is going to be Smackdown fist stage. They teased the raw is war, then they teased the nitro. What a suprise it would be to get the fist Stage without any warning. Then again, doing two entrace stages back to back is something they probably will avoid. Ill take an elimination chamber please! Pipers pit, brother love show, barbershop and funeral Parlor are all colorful memorable backdrops where a lot of cool things happened. They go hand in hand with Golden era where there wasn't much other set pieces aside from the ring. Each set has a host and would be an obvious pick for an included figure. Barbershop breakaway window. Funeral Parlor opening casket and maybe even a warrior and/or hogan themed casket. Brother Love show podium. Pipers pit could include hogan and andre trophies. Funeral Parlor and barbershop would include a lot of cool details. Elite sets could start to include blinded Jake, rick martel in suit(if they get the rights back), leather jacket shawn michaels and red t shirt jannetty if they get the rights etc. Yeah, but at least at a $250 price range, it must be the most detailed small set ever done. Look at everything that we got with the New Gen Arena and people still complained about the price. You can buy a pretty could casket at ringside for $15. Just saying, crowed funds at this pricepoint need to be for the bigger items. Remember figures are just a part of the actual plan. They can release any figures in any line if they want. The selling point has got to be whatever the main attraction is.

Its time for the Barber Shop with Ultimates of Shawn, Marty & Brutus...As well as a early bird of Sid Justice with a babypower faced 2nd head

I think what ever the next crowd fund project is, they should continue to release figures that pertain to the project around the release (Like the raw entrance 3 pack etc)
Also, they should wait on the entrance stages. People will start having museums in their house full of WWE entrance stages in a couple of years, that's okay for the people that have the room, but a lot more people have space issues. Unless they just have a figure option, cause let's be real, we cannot keep funding entrance stages EVERY year

Hopefully, no New Gen or Golden Era. I want more WCW/Monday Night Wars related items. Late 90's early 2000's please.

With the RA line it really should be the Fist or RA Raw stage with the ring swap set and 4 figures
4 figures makes up for the lack of base ring value wise then sell the ring base separate since the set comes with the conversion kit

The selling point has got to be whatever the main attraction is. I think a three in one (or four in one if they are feeling generous) would be appropriate. All would be like dioramas maybe the size of half the ring. Enough to fit two or three figures. Brother Love set would be basic. Funeral Parlor would be very detailed with the plants and candelabras and skulls. Standing caskets and on the ground coffins. Maybe even an led inclusion for the eery green effect. Barbershop would be somewhat detailed with window, barber shop poles, scissors and shaving creams on the surfaces. Pipers pit would be fairly basic and likely wm 3 era.

I'm hoping it's nothing I want to buy, just like the first one haha.
I'd definitely get anything with the Steiners, Nailz, or The Mountie because those are the last "essential" figures I need.
I'd be tempted by any pre-1999 WCW/NWA, a Golden Era WWF backstage set (if it's Attitude Era or later I won't get it), or a selection of pre-1999 UE figures. Something with Jessie the Body could do it, too.
Other than that, I'd likely pass.

Nitro stage should be the next thing imo. I'd be down for Lex Express, or playsets like Barbershop/Pipers Pit, or on the off chance they made a Zamboni, but most of that feels like stuff that doesn't need to be crowdfunded.

A real scale tower would be ridiculous. Production truck would actually be cool, perhaps in the Wrekin' line.

Honesty, if it stays Ultimate Edition items, I’m liable to back every project.

I wouldn't be bothered with a Nitro stage or any WCW stuff, as I never really cared for it, but I can see that it would most likely be the sensible move to make. It was reasonably simple in it's design and it has mass appeal to many, many people.
Personally, in a dream world, I'd love me a 'ruthless aggression' set - the 2002 RAW Titantron. I know they're planning to mass-release the ring, so a ring kit that has the apron/red ropes/buckle covers and we'd all be happy campers.
The problem of course, is that the 2002 RAW Titantron was very elaborate, with a lot going on. I would love it - but I wouldn't buy it if it was half-assed. And if it had to be sold for $200-$300, it'd very likely be half-assed.

Even though I would never be a player on these sets in a million years, it is still awesome to see stuff like this and how excited people who do want this kind of stuff get.
Still, I wanted to have some fun and give a few suggestions that I think would be cool.
Funeral Parlour Playset:Figures included in the base edition would be, Ultimate Edition Undertaker and Paul Bearer, multiple heads for Paul Bearer to capture all the crazy expressions he would make as well as special hands to let him hold out the urn and also hold it close to his chest. The added value I think would be an Ultimate Edition Ultimate Warrior and a special Ultimate Warrior casket just like the one on TV. I think some fun extra tiers would be an Ultimate Edition Jake the Snake Roberts and an Ultimate Edition Rick Flair. I think adding in all these extra Ultimate Edition figures may make this worth the $250 to collectors.
Barber Shop Playset: Figures included would be Ultimate Edition Brutus the Barber Beefcake and Ultimate Edition The Rockers, extra value here would be that they would come with different gear so they could be in street gear like in the segement and also with ring gear as well. The Barber Shop playset I think may be a hard sell at $250 as there was not a great deal to it. However, I think some extra value could be added by including an Ultimate Edition Sid Justice figure. I think this one would sink or swim depending on how well done The Rockers were.

The Barber Shop would be cool, but I am not sure if they could make it "grand" enough to justify the $250+ price tag. Marty Jannetty isn't even signed by Mattel so it would be a tough sell replicating the famous Rockers breakup with just Shawn and Brutus. The only other notable segment from that show was when Sid destroyed the set and hilariously got his face covered in shaving cream. Not sure if there is any demand for that one though.
For any of these projects moving forward, I think people need to temper their expectations regarding the included figures. Leveraging a big "First Time in the Line" name behind an expensive playset would cause an uproar. People speculated about Jeff Jarrett possibly being tied into the New Generation arena last year, but the backlash Mattel would receive for pulling a power play like that would be nuclear. Doink being included is likely the route they will follow with future projects. Adding someone who otherwise would never make the cut for the regular Ultimate Edition line as a way to entice collectors. This person may already have some other figures, but this would be your only opportunity to have the definitive version with all the bells and whistles.
