Something backstage
I’m sure one of the games in the wii era had a backstage set that was 2 levels with a metal fence you could climb up, something replicating that or another famous backstage set up

Even though I would never be a player on these sets in a million years, it is still awesome to see stuff like this and how excited people who do want this kind of stuff get. Still, I wanted to have some fun and give a few suggestions that I think would be cool. Funeral Parlour Playset:Figures included in the base edition would be, Ultimate Edition Undertaker and Paul Bearer, multiple heads for Paul Bearer to capture all the crazy expressions he would make as well as special hands to let him hold out the urn and also hold it close to his chest. The added value I think would be an Ultimate Edition Ultimate Warrior and a special Ultimate Warrior casket just like the one on TV. I think some fun extra tiers would be an Ultimate Edition Jake the Snake Roberts and an Ultimate Edition Rick Flair. I think adding in all these extra Ultimate Edition figures may make this worth the $250 to collectors. Barber Shop Playset: Figures included would be Ultimate Edition Brutus the Barber Beefcake and Ultimate Edition The Rockers, extra value here would be that they would come with different gear so they could be in street gear like in the segement and also with ring gear as well. The Barber Shop playset I think may be a hard sell at $250 as there was not a great deal to it. However, I think some extra value could be added by including an Ultimate Edition Sid Justice figure. I think this one would sink or swim depending on how well done The Rockers were. I think it would be a hard sell for $250 dollars for a small stage set and just 3 or 4 figures. With the New Generation Arena, the light up stage was something special that helped sell the set. With these interview sets, although they could do a great job, with tremendous detail, nothing would stand out like the light-up entrance. For these sets (Barber Shop, Funeral Parlor, Brother Love Show, or Piper's Pit) to sell, I think they would need to increase the number of figures offered to 5 or 6 to make the price worth it to people. And, you'd definitely have to add something special to it to make it sell. Kind of like how they said they will never make another Ultimate Edition Doink figure, so the only way to get that figure is by purchasing the set. To me, even though the light-up stage and ring were great, and done really well, I think the figures were the bigger selling point overall. To me, this is still my biggest want: first tier would be most of the Parlor Set (the wooden casket, the table in the center, the flowers/plants, etc.) and UE Undertaker and Paul Bearer figures. Second Tier would the grey Hogan casket to sit on the table and UE Hulk Hogan (with WWF Title) and Ric Flair (with Big Gold Belt) figures. Third tier would be UE Piper and Savage figures with chairs. If they need an early bird special, have the UE Ultimate Warrior figure and the casket they locked him in. If they could add the green lighting effect to the stage, that would be nice. And the special figure would be Paul Bearer, most likely he would never get an Ultimate Edition figure otherwise.

What am I missing here? Why do I keep seeing people shoot down an idea because "it would be hard to justify the $250 price tag"?
Where was it said that all future crowdfunds need to be $250 or more?
Did I miss something that was said by Steve? I think it's entirely possible that we'll see crowdfunds both above and below the price of the New Generation arena. To use that as a benchmark law though is silly, unless something was stated.

To use that as a benchmark law though is silly, unless something was stated. At various points he has commented along the lines of (not verbatim, these pop up when you search "Crowdfund" in the Question and Answer Thread): - The next set would likely be more expensive (On 8/7 he said "While it’s not finalized you can be certain it’ll be at least what the last one was, if not more realistically") - The next set would not focus on figures and may or may not be Ultimates - They are actively working on the next project and it is NOT New Generation related - Various versions of the next set not having a ring with it (he hasn't said that verbatim but has commented people won't have to buy multiple rings) It's hard to imagine what they would to do "justify" a $250+ price tag that doesn't include a ring. The $250 price tag, more or less, ended up being $100 for three figures and $150 for the entrance and ring (although at initial offering the entrance and ring were technically "valued" at about $220 based on just Diesel being included). But say whatever they do for the next one is $300 and includes three figures, what would be "worth" $200 to backers? A cage or Elimination Chamber might, but it doesn't seem like those would really have to be that expensive. Other than a massive Raw/Nitro/Smackdown entrance stage or a collection of smaller backstage sets, I'm not sure how they get there.

UE of hulk, savage, taker, warrior, bearer (if available still) would be huge + all the bits and pieces You could do the full funeral parlour of if you don’t have the space create your own and display just one casket etc The possibilities are so wide for this particular set

I know they said not doing another New Gen Arena but an In Your House arena would be cool especially if one of the stretch goals allowed you to turn it into a NXT In Your House Arena. Have an with an Ultimate HBK with an attire based on one of his IYH matches, a Ultimate Johnny Gargano based off his IYH attire and maybe if possible a Todd Pettengill figure with and without his sweet sweet mullet.

I think the problem with this would be that’s very limiting, need a lot of space to display etc. same with barbershop. The funeral parlour could be displayed in full or pieces out and just display one or two things without it looking incomplete

When can we expect the next crowdfund? I’m ready!!! I'm not expecting any announcement until a bit after the UE Macho Man ships out. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear anything until Rumble or Mania Access.

has the possibility of a vehicle been brought up? whether its the main piece or just part of a set, there's definitely some options that could be included. a limo, eddie's lowrider, austin's pickup or monster truck, a hearse, etc etc

Would u be down for any of these. I would love all of these a real scale wwe plane with seats on the inside. .A wwe travel trailer, it could include the production truck too with the monitor room. I think the other two would be a little harder to pull off, but would be amazing. They can have that side latch that doll houses have to easily access the inside. The tower would have to be pretty big but would look amazing. Would you guys be down for any of these or am I tripping? imgur.com/a/cE98cvAYou're tripping.

I can see Mattel continuing with New Gen for the next crowdfund. It seems that age bracket are most likely to pay that as they grew up on that era. I believe based on the first outing they will continue the trend of Display piece + figures. The ring is not necessary every time so the focus would be on a display piece/accessories and then figures as a selling point. My prediction is In Your House with some figures.

Just do blue a cage for the existing ring, maybe a new entrance set like IYH, and mix up the eras on the figures they offer.

The longer they take to announce it, the longer it is going to take to be in our homes. Got to think they will give this thing at least a month for open orders. So we are looking at XMAS 2023 or most likely spring of 2024 for whatever it is to be ready and shipped. I agree that they are probably holding back until all the Next Gen orders are fulfilled and Machos. Hopefully the Macho's will not take a month to get out and ship to everyone. Just saying, whatever it is, It is a looooonnnnggg way away!
