Magic seems like a good guy. Appreciate all the work he puts in to get some of these in our hands.

Does anyone know if you can swap the arms of Mattel and jazwares figures? Will that work?

Does anyone know if you can swap the arms of Mattel and jazwares figures? Will that work? You could try with WWE ultimates or post E85 elites

Magic threw Jeremy under the bus on that chase question lmao. I’m just glad he confirmed what we all figured was true

Idk, I don’t want to hijack this thread talking about the chases, but like, I just want to say that it feels like they know the low numbers are a problem but Jeremy and a few other people there don’t want to increase the production numbers again
Idk, that’s all I have to say about it, hopefully they find a way to make some sort of a black and/or pink singlet Owen

I wish they did chases like Mattel where they’re more rare but not insanely difficult and expensive to get

Not having Owen in pink and black sucks but how did we get Owen in that attire in the micro brawlers line?

Not having Owen in pink and black sucks but how did we get Owen in that attire in the micro brawlers line? Different company, different risk assessment. I don't think the issue is "we legally can't make this." It's "could this result in a lawsuit that, even if we win, will drag out and cost a ton of money."

Yeah it’s a bummer about Owen gears. I know they’re trying to show excitement for some obscure looks but it’s not what most people want. I’d even take a plain black singlet with pink trim on it over the current figures.

For clarification, the question was about famous WWF Owen attires, the 'pink and black' ones used specifically since they were memorable, which we know they largely can't do. Things like the Bret Hart winged skull logo aren't licensed to them, and WWE owns things like The Slammys, and maybe the in-house stuff is a bit legally ambiguous (so they aren't doing a straight up Black Hart attire for example). There is no way in hell they can't make up a pink & black Owen gear inspired by his past that looks like something he would've worn in 2022, using newly designed logos. The first DSotR shirt has a very cool original logo that combines the broken heart with a crown and wings; that would look great on a figure in the future.

Makes sense and hopefully we do somehow see it down the line.

I wonder if the Rocket look is doable. He wrestled in USWA and was the unified heavyweight champion in that attire. I believe Lawler still owns the trademarks and tape library. Owen was a contracted WWF wrestler on loan so that may cause an issue.
