This is all a distraction from the real news. Mox didn’t blade. End thread 😂 you will with that one 100%. I literally just told Shenmue I wasn't taking any bets for less than 20:1 odds that Mox wouldn't blade. I could've made some real cash off people on Sunday.

Honestly maybe Mox lost because he didn’t bleed.

I was watching the match and new punk was going to come up with color after the ring post spot, but kept waiting or Mox to get color. Part of the reason I didn’t think the match was over after the final GTS cause Mox hasn’t started bleeding yet. Maybe Mox only bleeds when he’s going over, like how Gunn only really sells if he’s going over 😂

This is all a distraction from the real news. Mox didn’t blade. Cost me money. Tony probably in tears if he is firing old punk. He has looked like a fanboy when he is with punk in these media scrums, looking at him in awe.

So I know that there are likely still a few people thinking it's all a work, and fair play, its wrestling no judgement. But, for even those people, lets say its a shoot like the rest of us are thinking. How much are we looking at CTE in Punk's behaviour? Doing all of this as a shoot, the way it happened, not exactly rational. So, is it CTE, just pure hatred of Colt Cabana that boiled over into everything, general anger management issues, or a little bit of all 3? I ask because the 1st one is a real concern for pro-wrestling as a whole, much like any other professional contact sport. My take is, Punk has this burning well of sourness/bitterness in his stomach - always there. It’s forever burning and his glass is forever an inch full when he thinks he should have everything. I think he saw the company for something it wasn’t; he’s misread it going in. As something he could be the guy for, the number 1 guy for. He went to a company built by Bucks, Cody and Omega, bankrolled by Tony Khan and he wants to be the king there when he’s forgetting there’s those guys who were there on day 1 who got it off the ground. I don’t think he’s demonstrated enough respect for their position and the stride he probably struck going into the company. It’s probably coupled with Bucks and Omega also straddling their own sense of entitlement, I don’t imagine they’re complete angels this far along but it likely didn’t mesh well with Punk from day 1 when he joined. It should have been mopped up months ago as I’m sure there’s been flashpoints before now. This is just an eruption of that. Inevitable disaster when not managed properly - should have been seen coming.

Again, huge grain of salt because this is unconfirmed, but sounding like we should expect some type of formal announcement before the end of today, or very early tomorrow at the very latest.

If Punk really is gone, I'd be disappointed. He's far and away my favorite wrestler in AEW.

If Punk is gone, make Bryan your top guy. Unproblematic and the second biggest name they have.

If reports are true that Punk has been fired its the right call from Tony and he's finally showing that he's and actual boss.I would also suspend The Bucks & Omega for 90 days without pay and strip them of the Trios Titles and more important their EVP titles. If they don't like the hand they are dealt I would terminate them as well.Tony also needs to have and all hands meeting and address the other backstage drama, leaks to the media and talent calling out other talents publicily on interviews and media calls. He needs to put his foot down and lay the ground rules that he must approve any and all interviews talents have outside of AEW and that talent can't bash other talents by name during interviews, also all behind the scene issues have to be kept in house and anyone who is found out to be the leaker will be fined, suspended or possibly fired.
This is going to be and ongoing headache for Tony for awhile as theirs a ton of much, toys and the game already in the pipe line with CM Punk all over it and the Elite if they walk as well.I don't know how you get around it atleast in terms of Punk,I would fire him with cause so you don't have to pay him one more cent under his wrestling deal but with all of the merch he still has to be payed for that unless theirs away you can pull all of it ASAP,which I think might be extremely hard to do with how along things are in production.

He’s always been egotistical and selfish.

I would tend to lean towards making Danielson champion as well, but worried about his injury history but if heath holds up he's the perfect guy to lead AEW through these dark times,I would say that the main 8 talents they need to focus on in their main event scene going forward are,
Adam Cole Bryan Danielson
Chris Jericho Claudio Castagnoli
Jon Moxley
MJF
Powerhouse Hobbs
Wardlow
and push the younger homegrown guys in the mid card. After all of this drama don't know how much stock you want to or could put in right now with Omega & Page.

CTE is a lame excuse,Punk has been resting up for like 7 years and also has always had issues and been a prick.Hell of a talent and still just in terms of in ring was one of my all time favorite but his track record speaks for himself,I would assume being fired and this drama it closes the door on his in ring career.

Understandable, but I think he has proven time and time again that he thinks he is better than everyone and it’s time that he owns up to his mistakes and leaves.

If the toxic, egotistical, two faced, vile bullying fake that is the "Voice Of The Voiceless" leaves? It will be a tremendous moment for wrestling in 2022! The mask has finally slipped! Good riddance!

Peter Rosenberg is reporting that Punk has also been fired along with Ace Steel. After the Kingston/Guevara interaction Tony said he wouldn't tolerate company violence and would fire anyone involved. I don't think he was expecting his roster to test him so soon.
