Nobody was "legit" getting pissed at Steve. Steve was giving off short one worded sarcastic responses for hours instead of saying it was bad lighting to begin with. All of it could have been avoided hours ago. "Eh you know what, it looks like bad lighting and angles, lemme double check." That's all that needed to be said. Took hours to get there. But here we are. His first response on the matter which is no longer in this thread was stating that it was the same. Then seemingly anyone who chimed in gave their thoughts and didn’t believe him. Everyone wants answers him from, and makes their little comments when certain things go unanswered, but when he quickly gives an answer this time people didn’t want to believe it. Just my two cents… Steve, to my knowledge, is the only Mattel that we as the consumers have for questions, answers, feedback, etc. Let’s say a bunch of people blindly preordered this at a premium and orders are now shipping. So by the time you see it MIGHT be a different sculpt or part or whatever.. you might freak a bit because it does look different. Lighting, angles and all that aside, at first glance it looks completely different. This might be a breaking point for some folks and maybe they don’t want it. If they’re already charged, then they’ve got to go through the necessary means to cancel or whatever the case. That said, people go to Steve. Sometimes people spaz out a bit. I’ve done it before. It’s not some novel concept to have concerns or freak out in any given situation. Bottom line, things like this always revert to a “taking sides” kind of deal. I’m not saying you’re doing that, so please don’t think I am. But these reactions happen every time it’s not all rainbows and sunshine in the Q&A thread and it all stems back to the Bill thing. We as users on this site can steer clear of that by not feeding into it from the other side. The ones that make the comments about the ones making the comments just breeds it further. We can disagree with Steve or not believe him on something and it doesn’t need 15 people with the “HE DOES’T HAVE TO DO THIS FOR US!” - yeah, we know that. I’m not saying there’s not a few bad weeds on this forum, but overall the folks on the “different head Charlie” are good folks. Let’s not make this out to be more than what it is. |

looks straight faced on the MOC pics no matter what the reality is just terrible angle and lighting ig exactly, it looks straight faced because of the poor angle and lighting. but looks can be deceiving and we were told it was the same. |

The belt not being painted is unfortunate. Would have preferred that to the extra head. Wearing suspenders defeats the point of a belt, no? I'd rather they created a new mold without a belt but I'm glad in this case they left it unpainted. Oh yeah I guess he didn't even wear a belt, so a new mold would have been better. |

But like others have said - looking at the RSC pics and then the SDCC pics, the heads just don’t look the same. We got some actual in hand photos from customers and it showed. AFA commented but there was no conversation or anything. Just blunt “it’s the same head” I think the concern came from no light being shed on what may be going on with the RSC pics. Like Odinson said and put it best, people Who were wondering if it was a different head and had reason to think so looking at those two compared photos are good people, just as everyone who believed Steve right after he made the initial comment. I immediately stated I stand corrected and others are obviously shown it’s still the same one. End of the day, just my two cents, we’ve got the (dual) confirmation about Chainsaw and have an AWESOME figure to add to the collection. Going on and on about this with people who differed in opinions isn’t doing anything but causing a stir. Id just say we all move past it and get excited about getting these figs in hand and in our collections!!! |

apparently I am also shaking and crying?
It’s very well possible he could’ve meant it was shipping with the original head but RSC had some sort of error figure
Either way I’ve already acknowledged I was wrong about it and it was just bad lighting and angles from RSC, kinda weird y’all still going on about it atp as it’s cleared up
