Interested in Kane, but not the ring. Also, with the ring being so big it makes it expensive to ship. To buy this from RSC, as a set, shipped to Ireland, is approximately €280. Mental money. It'll be a pass from me, so. Also would like to warn Mattel that they're about to damage the popularity of the Ultimates if they swap them over to plastic-free. Especially with the amount of paint issues Mattel figures seem to have. So I've added this ring to the basket on RSC. It would cost $201 to the UK including shipping if you use the 10% off coupon. Because of the exchange rate at the moment it's only £16 less than the New Gen Arena was (£180, plus it will almost certainly pick up a customs charge). Which had 3 Ultimates, extra skirts and the entrance. Good deal for americans maybe but I can't imagine the ring and kane would be worth it for any UK customers.

This is drip drying your consumer base 101. Where’s the value. I have a high interest in Attitude Era stuff but nah you’re alright on this one.

It'll be interesting to see how the Ringside price compares to Mattel Creations' price when they list the set: -Ringside charge more for their products due to flying the stock in so they get them first, but do have the 10% discount; it's already confirmed that Creations will get them later so should be a cheaper unit price; -Ringside is charging $76 for international shipping; Creations should be much cheaper than that given the rates they are advertising now on the UK version of the website; -Ringside's price doesn't include VAT, customs or duty, running the risk that it might be stop by HMRC but should be just below the usual amount that attracts attention; Creations (based on the current Retros bundle) adds 50% to the price for UK orders to cover VAT that is charged at 20%. Be interesting to see how they compare.

Contemplating on buying 2 of these. Wonder if Mattel will make a Smackdown conversion kit. It just needs Smackdown skirts and blue ropes. Might even not need 4 skirts if the WWE scratch logo is on the Raw ring.

Be interesting to see how they compare. It could work out much more cost effective for sure. Especially if you order multiples, or go in with other people in the UK. Ringside's shipping costs basically double every time you increase quantity (shipping 2 rings is like $150). Whereas I'm betting that you could order 10 rings from MC and still pay $15ish.

A couple of years back RSC identified the high international shipping and added a cheaper option. In the last 6 months that option has gone above what it used to be and you’re right, adding more product no longer makes it better value. I wish they would address this. It’s stopped me ordering so much stuff.

I doubt it. No other company doubles when you add an item. Combined shipping is a thing every where else. Shipping 3 figures to Australia doesn’t cost 3x shipping one.

If Mattel Creations is getting this, I'll wait to get it from there simply because shipping should be significantly cheaper

Snagged one. Not a fan of these fig/ring bundles since I really don't have a use for another ring so hopefully this isn't a common thing in the future.

How are people not getting this fairly basic stuff.
They wouldn't have released conversion kits for black rings, if the only available ring was blue, because it'd look f/cking stupid and like a like a knockoff product you'd get in a bargain shop, which WWE wouldn't allow Mattel to put their logo on. With a new black ring, they can do it, and if people want to put the black ring aprons on their blue rings, they can do so, but Mattel have ticked the box necessary to make it look official when customers buy the 'correct' products.

You'll definitely get hit with customs, so you really have to just include that as part of the price, in fairness.
In my €280 calculation, I didn't include the 10% off, but that only brings it down by €15 at most, so you're still in excessively expensive territory, unless Smyths get it aswell, as an exclusive.

On the bright side mattel creations will also be selling this. The customs will be included at checkout and the shipping will likely be about 1/5th of what RSC charges.

I think if they make a Smackdown ring, they'll have to make a new one to make it silver.

I think if they make a Smackdown ring, they'll have to make a new one to make it silver. I reckon they will make a silver one at some point, for that purpose. Although the silver ring was short-lived in the grand scheme of things. Black SmackDown! is also a thing, and seen as how they're doing it, it's entirely possible they'll start working from the original logos up to modern day.
