Yeah it's very over hated. It's gotta be the finish with Hogan going over plus Macho Man's terrible commentary. When he didn't know what to say, which was often, he'd just say "It's Wrestlemania 9!!!" OSW Review does a great job highlighting all his head-scratching comments from that event. In fairness to him, he should've been on the card, maybe even putting Bret Hart over since Hogan didn't want to do it. The only actual lowlights are the Hogan finish and the Taker match. Everything else is either mediocre (like Razor/backlund), entertaining (Doink/Crush, Luger/Perfect) or outright awesome (Shawn/Tatanka, Headshrinkers/Steiners). Even then the crowd ate up the Hogan finish and Taker had a badass entrance. Definitely could have benefitted from Monsoon on commentary in place of savage and doing Savage/Bret (which was the original plan) though. |

I would love a WrestleMania 9 entrance. Genuinely one of my favourite WrestleManias to watch back. Yeah it's very over hated. 100% agree. |
