I have 2 and it’s all because of head sculpt. The Wrestlemania 29 CM Punk from Toys R Us and the Network Spotlight Summerslam ladder match HBK. The HBK head is the far more egregious of the two. Not only does it look nothing like HBK, but it doesn’t even look like it was made by Mattel. I’ve been desperately waiting for a basic with an improved HBK head from the same era when his hair was at its longest, but it never came.

For Randy Savage, either the Royal Rumble Elite (the orange is the wrong color, the glasses are incorrect, now hat, no jacket) or Elite 23 (the gold is dull, doesn't pop, also no hat or jacket). For Roddy Piper, legends 12 (quilt is the wrong color, no IC title, head sculpt not the best). For Bret Hart, either the Survivor Series Elite (head scan is terrible) or 2-pack with Goldberg (pink was way off, no Maple Leafs jersey and steel plate). For Sting, basic Sting in green (part choices were terrible, way too short). I forgot about Legends 12 Piper and WCW Bret in Salmon. Add those to my list. But why do you think the Macho King orange was the wrong color?
His attire was all-pink, no orange. The glasses were white as well, not orange. I believe when they updated the films for later releases, they made changes to fit the newer formats which altered the colors look, but the original was all pink.      |

Any post Wrestlemania 9 Hogan besides the Ultimate Hollywood. They’re all hot garbage because of torso/head/skin tone. Great job Bill…

Agreed with the rumble elite, I was pretty excited for that one but once in hand it was disappointing. I can give it a pass on not having a hat or jacket. If they were going with the match interference look But the glasses being wrong and color being off. Plus the arms felt too big or the body too slim idk. I’ve always been a fan of e23. Not perfect and It could be redone with with hat & jacket and more pop. But I think it’s one of the better savage headscans; probably bc it was not intended to have hat/glasses to fit on it. Yeah, the part choices and the head sculpt are good. It's more that the attire is really dull. I wouldn't mind them redoing this figure if they could get the gold to pop more. Adding the hat, glasses and jacket would be great as well. I believe they have started working with metallic paint, or something similar. Some of the new figures like Bianca Belair and Doudrop look to have that type of paint on their wrestling gear.   If they could get the gold look of the belt on the tights, that would be perfect. |

I wouldn't say every Bret Hart figure, but most are not good because of the head sculpt. But the part choices and attire designs have been really good. |

I see what you're saying about the orange. With the gold metallic, you have to be careful because metallic paint smears off easily (see Virgil for example). |

The Crockett era Road Warrior Animal being on a smaller buck.
Jimmy Snuka..the fact that he only has one Mattel figure and its not his iconic barefoot look.
