Elijah Burke. Great mic skills, really good in the ring, and a great look. Honestly, on paper, he had everything you need to be a huge star. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it never happened. I feel like if he would have been starting his WWE career in the black and gold NXT era, he'd go on to be a huge star in the future, so maybe he was just 20 years too soon.

Taz in the WWF. I thought his attitude and wrestling style fit perfectly with the WWF at the time he was there.

I stand by that he should have beaten Punk in the Hell in a Cell.
I felt sure of this at the time. They built him up as a Goldberg type unbeatable wrecking ball, but then his first ever competitive match, he lost. It killed him. However, in retrospect, they knew he was a weirdo long before we did. He was never going to be the guy to carry a company, so sacrificing him for the sake of Punk, then sacrificing him again the next month for the Shield debut, then again for Mark Henry etc was the right move.Punk was a weirdo too! lol I don't think there is a pro-wrestler alive who isn't a bit of a weirdo. I see your point though!
But I do think he should have beaten Henry at Mania. Still not sure why they did that really.

You could say Burke two times over! The WWE run and then the TNA run! I think the rumors were he was a lot to deal with backstage and didn't get along with people, CM Punk most notably.

I don't know if I ever wanted anything more in wrestling than to see those two win the world title!

Taz in the WWF. I thought his attitude and wrestling style fit perfectly with the WWF at the time he was there. Kurt Angle admits now that he sabotaged Tazz’s push to Vince, after their rumble match, he went to Vince angry and said he can’t work, dropping people on their heads, he is dangerous etc and they changed Tazz’s plan to work with veteran like the boss man.

Mexicools. Juvi, Psychosis and Super Crazy. With talent that could mesh, should have been star after star. Along the same lines, Nova (Simon Dean) for his creativity to move creation. For last, but not least, Joey Styles; greatest play by play man to ever rock it in my opinion.

Mr Kennedy and Carlito for sure come to mind. Besides the loss of the MITB case and the Vince's long lost son storyline, Mr Kennedy was booked so well. Victories over countless World Champions and good feuds with Undertaker, Booker T, Eddie and so on. Must have really screwed up. Enjoyed his finisher as much as I enjoyed Wade Barrett's who's another name that should have been bigger. Their moves weren't super flashy but they were effective and they could be done on most opponents regardless of size.
All the same can be said for Carlito. Wins over Cena, HBK and more in his height. Never understood why he didn't work out. He even managed to have a unique look while only wearing shorts and wrist tape.

Ricochet - I was hoping he would be pushed alot more in storyline based on his amazing wrestling style.
John Morrison - I figured his success in other companies would have created him to be a bigger deal on his return. He definitely grew in personality and on the mic.

Nathan Jones....when they started promoting him I had visions of him running roughshod over WWE....feuds with Lesnar, Angle, HHH, Goldberg etc had me hyped.

Ah lads...I'm so disappointed to hear that. FFS......The Radicalz debuting so soon after him didnt help either..

That’s a great list! One may add a few more names first and foremost Carlito and Velveteen Dream. Parker Bourdeaux, Sylvan Grenier, Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore come to my mind aswell. Matt Bourne aka the original Doink also had a far too short run in WWE, same must be said about Vader and it still irritates me that neither Luger nor Bulldog ever one the Heavyweight Championship or the Tag Team Championship as a tag team. Last but not least Bam Bam Bigelow never held a WWE title. He was the blueprint for Brock Lesnar. 🤷🏼♂️

As a child they were my absolute favorite tag team!
