I think the Jericho angle with destroying ROH's legacy has been really good. I would keep it going for a while, maybe nine months to a year. Do another program with Danielson at some point, all the different guys who have been big in the 20-year history of ROH (who Tony has access to) could have matches/programs with Jericho. Joe, Cabana, on and on and on. Maybe Nigel McGuinness, if he's still able to work, Claudio, so many others. Shame they don't have access to Tyler Black, Kevin Steen, or Generico.
Then at the very end, Jericho puts out an open challenge, and who answers him?
ROH's biggest star ever, CM Punk.
Of course, we don't know if Punk is EVER coming back. He might sue and try to get a payday, leaving forever, he might be gone for years, no telling. A torn pec and 16 screws in your foot is pretty bad, so he might be done just health-wise, regardless of what happened with the Bucks and Omega.
But if you CAN get Punk back, I think it would be huge. He was probably ROH's biggest name, he could win a belt on his way back in, and have some good programs while holding the title for a while.
What do you think? Any other ideas for where you'd go with Ring of Jericho?

I know your idea is great, and would draw amazing amounts of money, but would it tarnish the brand as a whole, and can either of those two be as cometitive as they once were? Did anyone compete for the title repeatedly, but fail? That is a redemption angle in the making if so.

I'm also going to keep it 100 and reinforce the whole point of Jericho having this title is to help with a tv deal. It tells a great story about rebuilding what ROH stands for in the process.

I’ve been enjoying it. his character is currently the polar opposite of the integrity which ROH originated with and whoever gets the w should get a good rub from it
I’m probably the only guy on here who would love to see Grisham return in 6 months, destroy Jericho’s group and challenge him for the title. then have another feud between Lethal/Grisham, if only for the Satnam vs Grisham match in there too

If we end up seeing Chris Jericho vs Samoa Joe, this entire thing is worth it.
Jericho has been killing it. Big fan of THE OCHO.

I do legit wonder how Jericho is going to help ROH get a tv deal.
I’d love to hear Tony fumble around explaining why Jericho and JAS segments drive away 100k+ viewers.

Hoping this ends with Garcia winning the title and becoming a household name out of it personally. Besides Max's pursuit of gold, this has been my favorite current angle in AEW. I never would've thought I would say that last year at this time about a angle involving Jericho but please no more titles for Punk.

Wrestling barely produces household names nowadays and youd be crazy to think that Garcia has any chance.

Garcia should 100% be the one to beat Jericho for the title. The only question is when. Not final battle, need jericho to launch the weekly series, but I'm not sure if you do Garcia beating him on the very first episode or build it for the first Ppv after weekly shows start

I hope Final Battle ends up looking something like:
Blake Christian def. Matt Sydal Dalton & The Boys retain over The Embassy Bandido def. Tony Deppen Lee Moriarty def. Daniel Garcia for the Pure Title FTR retain over The Kingdom Samoa Joe retains over Claudio Castagnoli Willow Nightingale def. Serena Deeb Chris Jericho retains over RUSH and is confronted afterwards by Nigel McGuinness

Household name was a bad way to put it I guess,ROH needs a guy to present as "their man" and I'm hoping with this story Garcia becomes that. Is that better for you?
