I've been slowly rearranging/swapping out some of my collection for display lately, and I've noticed a couple of instances where I've skipped out on including a figure's accessory on display.
I'm not necessarily talking things like additional hands/heads or "weapon" type accessories, but more specifically attire/gear-based accessories that I just happen to like the figure more without.
Some of the ones that have popped up to me as I peruse my collection:
- Zelina Vega E84: Her entrance coat was cool, but I didn't like the way her hair fell over it, so I opted to just display her with her crown/tiara
- Shotzi Blackheart E95: I left the helmet off when I put her up on the shelf. I dunno if this is more that she didn't have it this first time I saw her (Evolve 132), or just that it hid her face a bit for me, but I think the figure just looks better without it.
- Cesaro E93: Not a fan of how the coat here turned out at all. I think I fiddled around with the figure wearing it for maybe 15 seconds and then just went for the gear look.
- Tommaso Ciampa E69: It was a pain in the ass with the knee brace, but the camo pants had to go with this one. The figure looks so much better to me in his proper gear.
Interested to see some of the nuance of which accessories y'all might keep off to the side when displaying your figures.
