What is your Mount Rushmore for WWF Video Games? WWF WrestleFest the Arcade Game - a really fun game with a number of great characters (Hogan, Warrior, Bossman, Jake the Snake, Ted DiBiase, Earthquake, Sarge, Perfect, Demolition, and Legion of Doom). The only thing that would have made it better was if it had more playable wrestlers (Macho King, Dusty Rhodes, Rockers, Hart Foundation, Power & Glory, Undertaker, Texas Tornado, the Model, Snuka, Tito, Warlord, Barbarian, Tugboat, ect. WWF Royal Rumble (SNES) - another fun game, I played the Royal Rumble match over and over. Like WrestleFest, the only thing lacking was it needed more playable wrestlers. Had they been able to combine the roster of the SNES game with the roster from the SEGA game, it would have been better. This would have been a really fun game to play with the combined roster: Randy Savage, Bret Hart, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Crush, the Narcissist, Ric Flair, Mr. Perfect, Ted DiBiase, Yokozuna, Tatanka, Hulk Hogan, IRS, Jim Duggan, Rick Martel, and Papa Shango. WWF WrestleMania the Arcade Game (SNES) - great game, the detail of the wrestlers/animation was the best for a wrestling game (to this point). Much like my other picks, this one lacks a deep roster. My favorite move to use in this game is the "Nobody Messes With The Bad Guy" maneuver. WWF In Your House the Arcade Game (Playstation)- Much like WrestleMania the Arcade Game, the animations were excellent. I liked the new cast of characters (WWF 1996, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Ahmed Johnson, Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker, Vader, Triple H and the Ultimate Warrior). The special maneuvers for each wrestler were really fun, and creative.

WWF WrestleMania The Arcade Game
While I played the hell out of the PlayStation version of this when I got it along with my PlayStation for my 15th birthday in November 1995, it is the arcade version I am talking about here. This game has a ton of personality, each of the eight wrestlers feel unique and the digitized sprites are the best of any game that I have seen! I do wish for the home version they added a bit more and the roster was missing some major key characters (most notably Diesel and Owen Hart) when the game came out, but it did start development I think in late 93 so that does explain that. This is just a really fun game and one I fire up multiple times per year. WWF No Mercy
A predictable one I know, but this was the culmination of the amazing WCW/WWF series on the Nintendo 64. The number of hours my friends and I put into this game was unreal. We blew off a ton of classes to play this and it was probably our most played multiplayer game. The guys behind this game just straight up "got it" and realized what made wrestling fun. They captured the feel of a wrestling match without making it an unfun sim like many of the later THQ and the 2K games would end up doing. WWF Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth
I was a bit disappointed with what we got with Just Bring It, but Shut Your Mouth was a real game changer for me. From November 2002 to Christmas of 2002, this was all that I played, I was so hooked on this game and it was just an incredible amount of fun to play. I felt like they really nailed the characters with this one and it kept that arcade-style gameplay that the series had been known for. Look, I know that "technically" Here Comes The Pain is the better game, but for me, I have more nostalgia and I had more fun with this one. WWE All Stars
I have always said that in a just world, we would be on our third WWE All Stars game by now. At the time this came out, I was getting very frustrated and sick of the sim approach that the WWE games were taking. Having this be an arcade fighting style game was just so much fun! I loved the crazy and exaggerated look of the characters and the whole game was truly a blast to play. I just wish that they went all in with the legends instead of mixing the legends with the then current roster. However, to be fair, the legends going up against the new superstars was the point. It had a solid selection of game modes too all of which had awesome video packages. I have this on my 360 and the 3DS and I just know that the 360 I play this on is on borrowed time and that I will lose the DLC once it dies Honorable mentions,
WWF Superstars: Gameboy WrestleMania Challenge: NES WWF RAW: Super Nintendo WCW/NWO Revenge: Nintendo 64 WWE Smackdown Here Comes The Pain: PlayStation 2 WWE 13: Xbox 360 WWE 2K16: PlayStation 4

Wrestlefest Super WM(SG) Royal Rumble(SG) No Mercy Does SG stand for Sega Genesis? If so, I heard on the Super WrestleMania game for Sega, you could do each wrestlers finishing maneuver like the flying elbow drop or the DDT, is that correct? On the SNES game, you couldn't.

WCW/NWO Revenge: Nintendo 64 WWE Smackdown Here Comes The Pain: PlayStation 2 WWE 13: Xbox 360 WWE 2K16: PlayStation 4 A hard pick between WWF Royal Rumble and WWF Raw on SNES, both games were fun and played a lot. But I went with Rumble because that was my first SNES game.

No finishing moves, no championship mode, you couldn't even pick your opponent. I got it for my birthday along with my SNES in 1992 and it was nowhere near as good as WrestleMania Challenge on the NES or WWF Superstars on Gameboy. None of the 8 bit games captured the feel of the WWF like that original Superstars game on the Gameboy did! Such a shame instead of building on it they tried to emulate Super WrestleMania with Superstars 2 which sucks!

European Ramage Tour (Amiga) - LOVED this when I was a kid! WWF War Zone (PlayStation) WWF SmackDown! (PlayStation) WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth (PlayStation 2)
Those are the ones I remember playing most fondly, not necessarily the "best".
