He’s alright, a solid midcarder. Too much wackybump and not enough selling when he was in his prime. Never had much of a character, relied on “insider” references too much. Ultimately, as a good guy or bad guy, it was just hard to care about his matches either way unless you’re obsessed with “pushes” and “burials” and that bs.
Occasionally, he put the pieces together and could be awesome - he had a great feud and IC title match with The Miz in 2016. For the most part though, he’s just a good hand on the roster who can be slotted into an upper card spot briefly if times are desperate.

Not a huge Ziggler fan. Nothing personal against the guy, but the comparisons to Shawn Michaels just always seemed insane. Him cashing in the night after WrestleMania 29 was his absolute peak and he never came anywhere close to getting back to that level in the following decade.
There were times when WWE dropped the ball with him although when he would air his grievances online only to continually resign with the company it became harder to care for him. So many guys have gone elsewhere to reestablish themselves and come back better than ever while Ziggler just seemed to settle into complacency.
Longevity in this industry should be applauded and he has definitely had a nice little career. However, in my opinion he is vastly overrated and hasn't really cared in a long time.

I don't mind Dolph, but I can't say I'm his biggest fan in the world. He's good, but somethings never quite clicked for me with him.

I was a huge fan of his from 2009 or 2010 til 2014 or so.
Much like Ziggler, I’m pretty much #OverIt now

Should have gotten more out of his run, but he did have a lot of cool moments.

Sting's debut should have been the launching point for Ziggler being pushed to the moon.

Sting's debut should have been the launching point for Ziggler being pushed to the moon. Agreed 💯%. Instead, it was more like a last call.

He was great 2009-12. After then he seems a guy who just does minimum and takes the pay check. My favourite match was Royal Rumble 2011 against Edge. Summerslam 2009 IC match is also good stuff.

Never been overstruck on Dolph Ziggler, dont get me wrong, the man can wrestle, boy he can wrestle, but personality/charisma wise..... he's never cut the mustard with me

man is a legend
he’s got something some people don’t have: he can be mid-card, he can be in the tag division, or he could be main event. Idc who disagrees or thinks I’m wrong. he can do anything, and he’s proved it.
he’s a very solid worker and deserves more title runs

Not a fan at all for such a long career he has actually had very few amazing and exciting matches. As a matter of fact of the top of my head I couldn't tell you one! Kudos to him for staying in the company so long however I do not dislike him, but at the same time he is not a guy I have ever been entertained by. He has had many memorable feuds and moments. Just to name a few: 1. IC title feud with The Miz 2. IC title feud with Seth Rollins 3. Tag title run with Drew McIntrye 4. Feud with DX with the Spirit Squad 5. One of the most memorable MITB cash-ins of all time. I know that there are many fans that believe he has not achieved enough, but the dude has achieved more than most realize. He's won the World Championship, NXT Championship, IC & US titles, Raw & Smackdown tag titles, and MITB. He's also won many of those championships numerous times. Dolph's a 6 time Intercontinental champion. I don't understand why that is not considered to be a success. You shouldn't be considered a success only on World championships (which he did win by the way). If we only judged a successful career on world titles, then we should say Razor Ramon/ Scott Hall, Mr. Perfect, and Roddy Piper were failures too.

That's cool I can appreciate he has done a lot and fully understand why some folk are big fans, but he's just never clicked for me or entertained me greatly. Although the MITBcash in was probably my favourite moment of his.

Told my friend that he was one of my 5 all time favourites the other week and he was in shock. He stopped watching wrestling during the 2011-2015 period of Ziggler and just seen him as 'decent hand' who never fully made it.
You just had to be there
