Hey gang,
Is the belt that comes with the Defining Moments Hogan figure available anywhere else, or was that the only figure that had it as an accessory?
I’d love to have that belt for one of my figures, but I’m reluctant to shell out for a DM Hogan just for that piece.
Thanks!

Only time. One shot at the "Hogan '86 belt" with the Defining Moment (DM). Which is such a shame, really.
The closest it has come to a re-release is the current Championship Showdown 11 Hogan/Andre 2-pack. The stand has a reflective sticker that features the exact same title.

I'm expecting a re-release in 2023. No evidence other than 'Hogan, brother'

Hogan was the only guy who carried that version of the title, so unless Mattel gives us another one of the 1986-1987 era Hogan’s, there’s no other figure that will come with it.

Didn’t Orndorff steal it for a short period? Maybe they could justify releasing it with him for that reason.

I'm not sure if he stole it for a short period, but he did put it on during their match in Toronto on the Big Event show:

Ws it not with the Ultimate Edition Wave 13 Hogan or is that a different title?

I'm not sure if he stole it for a short period, but he did put it on during their match in Toronto on the Big Event show: Yeah I believe that was a dusty finish type scenario. He pinned hogan and thought he won but ref disqualified him or something. I need to rewatch it. I coulda swore he stole it at it one time. *just watched. Ref was knocked down, Bobby runs in and hits Hogan with a stool, Paul pins him, ref crawls over and pats Orndorff on the shoulder 3 times, bell rings, he gets up celebrating with the title, announcer says Hogan wins by DQ.

He might have, but that was a little before my time so I didn't see all superstars and primetime wrestling shows where that could have been the case. I know Mr. Perfect stole the belt in 1989 and destroyed it.

That title is awesome. Rerelease that Hogan with a proper Hogan tan and I’ll buy again.

If you guys want that belt offered again as an accessory with a revised/improved tanned Hogan figure, I can always buy the Defining Moments version off of eBay. That will guarantee a rerelease/new release.
Sigh…

I do remember the angle where he “stole” the Real American theme to kinda troll Hogan. That lasted longer than any belt scenario that I remember. Now this has me thinking, has Mattel ever released anyone with a belt that was “stolen” in storyline before? I can’t think of any but I could very well be wrong.

Only thing I can think of is JYD coming with the crown he stole from Harley and wore at WM3.

Andre is coming with it in elite series 100. Interesting. But to paraphrase Herman, will it be a belt made for a giant of a figure? In other words, will it be too big for an Ultimate Hulk Hogan figure?

Andre is coming with it in elite series 100. no. Andre is coming with the belt specially made for him in the event he won at WM3.
