Like something you came up with in your fig fed days? The upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge sounded so "fan made", it got me wondering.

Well technically WCW came up with it first but they didn't use the actual items. WCW had a Wedding gown match. WCW didn't use actual wedding gowns

I had one inspired by TNA. It was a ladder match with 10 people and envelopes hanging above the ring. One envelope contained a World Title shot, two contained a Tag Title shot and the two that grabbed them had to be a team to challenge for them. One contained an IC Title shot, one contained a punishment. And five were decoy envelopes. And a wrestler could grab as many envelopes as they wanted.
I had another one that was one wrestler defending his World Title against the whole roster. A match would start one on one and the challenger had 5 minutes with the champ. If the time expired, he would leave and another challenger would enter. This continued until someone pinned the champ to win the title, or the champ was able to pin a challenger within the 5 minutes to retain.

Hell in a Cell ladder match. Just like a regular ladder match only the title is hanging from the cells ceiling.

My cousin and I used to wrestle on my trampoline when we were kids. The two I remember are Extra DQ (which is basically the opposite of no DQ, there are extra rules and the ref is DQ happy) and Loser Dies. It’s still a mystery why that second one never made it to WWE television
As for somewhat realistic matches I had a team Elimination Chamber match, which was an elimination tag match with War Games entry rules held in an EC. I think that eventually became an option in one of the WWE games, but I came up with it years before that in the fig fed.

I think later on via Al Gore's internet I discovered some small promotion did this before but when I was a kid years and years ago I had battle royal cage matches where you had to be tossed over the top of the cage and to the floor.

The only thing I could remember was a match being made in large borders of water. I was probably around 10 years old playing with my figures in the bathtub. The closest was when WCW had the swimming pool arena, I believe in Florida. That was so cool.

In my backyard wrestling days I thought of a gimmick match where you had to hit your opponent with a certain weapon X amount of times to win. The booker of our little backyard fed called it a Hard Ten match, since the number he picked was ten.

I know I had one wacky one as a kid with my fig fed but I can't remember for the life of me what it was. The only other thing I can't recall seeing (and, it's probably been done) was a 2 of 3 falls match but you had to win one fall by pin and one by submission.

I used to do this match with figures as a kid
If I ever wanted to unify championships, I’d have the two champions plus the #1 contender for each belt wrestle in a fatal 4 way elimination match. Winner take all

I believe that was the final Bunkhouse Stampede match in NWA won by Dusty Rhodes, if I'm not mistaken.

Iron Man Tables match was always a favourite of mine, but it was always Perry Saturn vs Goldberg (both Toybiz figures) because those were the only figures I had.

I guess when I told my friend about my match idea, he remembered TNA having the match type I came up with, paired with that title, and went with that, without ever telling me it actually already existed. That’s hilarious.

Apparently Bray has a new match idea that he has been pitching for years and they are gonna do it at the rumble.
