Loved the new/old Danhausen showing up!
Happy Ricky won! Love that it's him versus Ethan now. Ricky/MJF should be a fun "new stars" World Title match.
Eddie/Jun was fine! I get a little tired of the "we chop each other for thirty minutes=good match" match that a lot of American wrestlers have against Japanese wrestlers. But I enjoy this one as I felt they delivered more than just that.
Jack Perry/Luchasaurus blew me away! No expectations for this match and it ended up being one of my favorites of the night! Smart placement too because if this came on any later I think it would have died. Christian was fantastic!
LOVED Triangle/Elite! Felt like a big deal and they all delivered! The crowd was hot for every moment too which was cool to see!
Jade/Nyla was surprisingly smooth but I wouldn't say it was a great match by any means.
The ROH four way was very fun! Surprised I liked this as much as I did because I had zero interest heading into it.
Saraya/Britt was okay. It was to be expected. A lot of pressure on both, Saraya to deliver and Britt not to ruin it/injure her.
Joe/Wardlow/Hobbs was fun! Wasn't exactly as good as I was hoping but I still enjoyed it! Very surprised that Joe won.
Sting/Darby vs. Jay/Jarrett was fun! Got enough nostalgia in there as well as fun spots with Satnam. Thought Jarrett looked amazing! And the match didn't overstay its welcome.
Hayter/Toni I thought was very boring until Rebel came out and then I loved every bit that followed. Made Toni look like a star. Happy Hayter won too! I will say, I don't think Britt is that good in-ring. Like her execution and match flow always feels a little off. I would say Toni Storm is good in-ring. The execution of all her moves are very smooth. BUT I feel like Britt vs. Riho both times and Britt vs. Thunder are more entertaining than anything I've seen Toni have. I think Toni is almost objectively a better "wrestler" but I don't think Toni is an entertaining one. I find all of her matches very boring.
Acclaimed/Swerve was good! Obviously didn't touch their first one but I liked the story being told in it. I did think it was rather odd to do practically the same angle with PAC/Fenix and Swerve/Keith in the same night, to different results.
I thought the main event was fun! Both looked like they were having a ball out there with the crowd reactions. A little disappointed Regal turned. It seemed TOO obvious that I thought they might swerve us. But just because something is obvious doesn't mean it's wrong/bad. Should be interesting to see how MJF does with the pressures of being World Champ.
Overall, I kinda felt the fatigue of the show but it's hard to complain because match quality wise I think this show is gonna be hard to top.

AEW is the most predictable wrestling organization out there. I agree. They're turning into WWE. Eh, they've been predictable since day one.

Just because a story has a distinct A-B-C story telling and not A-B-D doesn't mean it's bad. I find it odd when people say "predictable" isn't of "bad". I don't know when those two words became synonymous.

There just always seems to be negative connotations when people say it's predictable. Like you only hear people saying that when it's a negative.

Tremendous show. I just wish AEW focused more on making a perfect card instead of making each match "5 stars". Every match getting 2.9 kick out gets a little exhausting on a 4 hour show. Regardless, I did enjoy the show immensely and think all the right people won.

I agree. They're turning into WWE. Eh, they've been predictable since day one. That's the problem when you want ratings more than you want to put on a solid wrestling show. You have to appease the mainstream fan. We ALL know Roman isn't losing ANY time soon and we ALL know Cody will win the Rumble and will be the only one to beat Roman. We ALL know the Usos aren't losing ANY time soon and most likely it'll be Sammy and KO that beat them. We ALL know The Elite and DT are going seven matches, we ALL know MJF is going right back to being a heel, we ALL knew Swerve and Lee were going to split. Wrestling isn't math. It's pretty easy to figure out sadly.

OMG a believable powerbomb by Wardlow finally. He didn't stand there for 67 years with Hobbs' head between his legs. To be fair, who wouldn't want their head between Wardlow's legs for that long?

Just got home from the show, didn’t check in here since the pre show. So here is my opinion. Five hour shows are just too damn long. The crowd can’t keep up that energy that long.
MOTN’s 1. Elite vs Death Triangle (can’t assume there is too much of a debate there) 2. Cage Match 3. Darby and Sting vs Jarrett and Lethal (didn’t overstay it’s welcome and was so damn fun)
Worst Matches of the night 1. Nyla vs Jade (can’t imagine there is too much of a debate about this either. 2. Saraya vs Britt (it was just there, honestly this was a WWE post divas Aj, Paige, and The Bellas match, but womens wrestling has come such a long way since then)
Honestly the only two matches all night id consider bad
The Acclaimed are 100% the most over act in the whole company. People waited all night for them.

Hitman do you know why that one dude got ejected and everyone was shouting a-hole at him? They even acknowledged it on commentary.

Hitman do you know why that one dude got ejected and everyone was shouting a-hole at him? They even acknowledged it on commentary. Drunk, and the people around him had enough. So he started getting tough with people. He couldn’t even walk up the stairs when security dragged him out. If there was something specific that proceeded that I didn’t see it, but he was yelling at several rows of people.

Enjoyed the show tonight, overjoyed that Death Triangle picked up the win, I wholeheartedly expected The Elite to score the W. I don't dislike The Elite but I figure they were gonna hit the reset button upon their return and hand the belts right back.
Jungle Boy Jack and Luchasaurus nailed it in the cage, that match way over delivered!
I wish FTR were on the card but looking over the show I can't really work around which match/s would have been dropped or who they would have faced. I think TK was holding out for FTR v Briscoes but the network don't want anything to do with Dem Boys...

Jamie Hayter won the women's world title (don't @ me about that interim bs Toni was a real champ too).
The elite returned, came out to the song (huuuuge supernatural mark here).
Getting a best of 7 between the elite and death triangle!?
Very happy me.
Rest of the show was super cool too had a great time tonight. Freaking love AEW.

Not an Elite guy obviously by any standards but love Supernatural and love the song. So goosebumps there.
I hope Eddie Kingston gets a shot at MJF.

What a main event and what a media scrum after lol. The salt of the earth finally has some stock to his name.
I had fun with this entire PPV minus the Paige/Baker match. Very slow and meh but better that than a casket or a wheelchair.
Still say the most cringe part was the Kansas entrance. I see people saying they're not Elite fans but are fans of Supernatural and it's funny bc Supernatural is what ruined that great song for me. Just goes to show that so many people live different lives. It's still good in moderation but everyone knew it was coming by the words on the screen so no big shocking moment for me. Woulda been better to cut the lights, hit the song and the lights, to hell with that corny intro. But when you get to book your spot on the card of course you have to do everything in your power to make yourself look better. Fun match. Will never stop giving the Bucks crap for no-selling. The flips are fun, the spots are insane but if you take a triple backflipping side handspring tombstone and pop back up I just can't take the rest seriously.
Very glad MJF won, happy to see DT win most of all. I'm a Joe fan but really didn't see him winning that one. So I was shocked there. Scissor me daddy is always a class act. Skipped Deaf Jarret's debut but I'm imagining a guitar spot and some other TNA spots that were well past their time.

MJF at the media scrum certainly made up for the crap show that Punk put on at the All Out one. Definitely looking forward to seeing him and Ricky Starks at Dynamite: Winter is Coming (let's be honest Ethan Page, isn't winning Wednesday).

Please tell me people know Kansas sang the song, and don't think it's just the Supernatural theme.
