Finally got around to watching some scrum clips. MJF is just the best. Living the character and doing a near flawless job.
I should’ve ordered the PPV instead of watching Tennessee get their teeth kicked in.
I’m curious to what the environment will be in Chicago.

I attended the show and had a blast and I felt feeling very excited for the immediate future of AEW:
- Ricky Starks has endeared himself as a babyface and I sincerely hope we see him start to be featured more as a main player
- It was such a pleasure witnessing Eddie Kingston/Jun Akiyama, though it was disappointing to see the fans not really know who Akiyama was. He should be as revered as Minoru Suzki.
- We're obviously seeing the transition from Jungle Boy to Jack Perry and that's ultimately a great thing. It's time for him to move on and remove Christian from television until he's ready to get back into the ring. You could definitely build Jack Perry up to challenge for a title and then have Christian screw him out of it, leading to the ultimate blow-off for this feud but that's months down the line. Tony should focus on further building up Jack Perry and inserting him into a new, fresh feud
- I thought the finish to the incredible Trios match was such a breath of fresh air. I think the last 20+ years of American booking has conditioned us to believe that Fenix would refuse to cheat, causing PAC to turn on him and dismantle Death Triangle but we get the exact opposite and a Best-of-Seven series between these two teams. Just simplistic yet effective storytelling.
- One negative was obviously Jade vs. Nyla Rose. Three thoughts: 1). Jade should not be working 10+ minute matches as she is badly exposed. She should be a Goldberg-like attraction with a remarkable entrance that squashes everyone in her path with ease; 2). Willow Nightingale should be the one to dethrone Jade because she is a phenomenal babyface; 3). Nyla Rose desperately needs to be a babyface that launches Vickie Guerrero into the sun.
- The ROH four-way match was terrific.
- I would've loved to have seen Saraya lose the first match because it's been 5-years since she's wrestled and there was obvious rust. You could've done a compelling story where she loses, vows that she's going to work harder against Britt in the re-match, and hopefully Saraya knocks off the ring rust heading into match #2. Still, I can understand why they had her go over and I thought the match was fine.
- I'm glad the TNT title is off Wardlow and I hope they have him be more of a monster like he was pre-TNT Championship
- Sting and Jay Lethal walked right next to me during the brawl!
- Another great piece of storytelling in Hayter/Storm. Again, most of us have been conditioned to believe that Britt would've cost Jamie the match but we get the exact opposite scenario. I also thought it was smart how Jamie didn't really know the extent of the interference as it protects her future babyface run. They absolutely should remove the Interim tag (and should've when Toni was Champion)
- Once again we were conditioned to believe Keith Lee would ~swerve~ us and go full-blown heel with Swerve but he leaves his partner in the dust. I am very much looking forward to Lee/Swerve.
- Loved the main event and the finish. There's so many questions that I am looking forward to being answered in the coming weeks and I am very, very juiced to see MJF's first run as World Champ

MJF has been absolutely amazing since his return,I don't think I could name one thing I would've changed besides the Firm being involved so much.

Hayter needs to keep the belt till the AEW UK visit!
Or drop it back to Thunder and we can have Saraya win on home turf 🇬🇧

I’d like to see him separated from them completely and just be full on MJF will Regal by his side.

That was a shame he got hurt. But yeah, the Gamecocks made TN look foolish. I was shocked.

Been a long time since we’ve had a year to be very proud of and then go out and lay an egg like that. That might’ve been the worst defensive performance I’ve ever seen by a ranked team. I’ll take 9-3 or 10-2 but it’s ended pretty rough with the beat down plus Hooker tearing his knee up.

I hope** that Ethan Page winning the eliminator tournament this Wednesday (I'm assuming) will be the end of the firm/mjf dynamic for a long time once mjf beats him at winter is coming. I'd like to see the firm just switch focus to the tnt then and not involved in mjfs stuff anymore

I don’t think it needs much time spent on the “breakup” and instead just press on with MJF. Nothing against those guys but the story is the new champ with Regal in his corner

I think Starks beats Page. They can't be in Canada every week, lol. He's not liked much outside of it. Plus, he's a heel. It'll be Starks/MJF.

This and Revolution 2022 are the two best AEW ppvs imo. This show ruled.
