Love it! I'll be grabbing a few. The majority of people who don't like him, or are claiming "pAsS" can't even articulate a reason why, other than typical internet hive mind nonsense. Guy is an athlete and entertainer who is more popular than ANY current WWE superstar and I'm here for it. Great business decision Mattel! My articulated reason is I’m not paying $50 for a Logan Paul toy. I’ve passed on better for a lower price. Who really cares who likes it or who buys it or not |

It’s not a bad looking figure, but there’s very few modern wrestlers I would spend the UE $32 price point for and even fewer that I would spend the MC UE $45+ shipping price for. If I were to buy a Logan Paul figure and Elite version would be more than enough for me. This is the thing though, guys such as RVD, Seth, Eddie and everyone else people are asking for are big enough names to justify a mass retail release where Logan Paul isn't. That's why he's getting a Mattel Creations exclusive figure instead of a big name that everyone wants. And to be honest I'd rather see them go this route with Mattel Creations releases. Save them for guys who wouldn't normally get Ultimate treatment. Also for those that may not have watched the video here are a few screenshots of the preliminary packaging.   I agree with you that mattelcreations is a great way to get someone out that wouldn’t necessarily do well at retail. I disagree however that it matters if the person is a big enough name to be in the main line alone. Whether this “takes up a spot” that could be used for someone else is here or there but i’d argue that all those names and others deserve a treatment like this. Just look at that packaging all those other names would look amazing with special packaging like that. Instead it’s being used to push a Logan UE. Logan would sell well in the elite line. But asking 45 and a years wait feels deflated. Everyone else I mentioned would be way more worthwhile Yeah but all those other guys mentioned will sell at the $32 MSRP. So people’s would be complaining they needed to spend $15 more plus shipping for Seth, Eddie, RVD (is he back under contract?) This Logan Paul figure isn’t someone everyone is going to want so it make sense for him to be released this way. He’s made to order so those who want him can order it and there won’t be any pegwarmers at retail stores holding up the next wave from being put out. Logan Paul isn’t like Cody’s exclusive where they needed a more popular name to launch the Mattel Creations exclusives. And by that I am not saying Logan Paul isn’t popular but his name isn’t as big in the wrestling world as Rhodes. If Cody’s sales didn’t meet expectations I doubt there’d be this Logan Paul figure or any other Mattel Creations figure. |

Not a big fan of Logan Paul, but there is no denying this guy can wrestle. Absolute natural at it. Might grab one of these just to stash away for a rainy day.

I think this is a great idea. Seems like a few of these Crowdfunded products that Mattel & Hasbro have tried lately have failed, but here you have a guy with a big unique fanbase who I could easily see throwing their money in. Even if they don't collect wrestling toys. Or maybe they won't. That's what makes it interesting..
Personally, no interest. I don't like Ultimates.

I do not care about social media influencers at all. I do not care about YouTube "celebrities" at all. He and his brother rose to fame via Vine pranks, childish YouTube videos, and one acting on the Disney Channel. I mean, cool ... he can do spot work in the ring. Good for him. But I have zero desire to own a figure of someone I don't respect as a pro wrestler. He was handed his spot with no work toward it. There are a slew of longtime wrestlers who have yet to have a figure. This is a money grab by Mattel (and I can't blame them, they are a business). They will be nothing in a few years (Jake will accidently lose a boxing match) unless they stay in the WWE. Just like I've never liked the Miz because he was on MTV (he has earned the right to have a figure though), I will never like Logan. So for all of those reasons ... I will pAsS.

The packaging and figure look great -- I think CrowdFund is perfect. Mattel can make some money, and doesn't waste a slot for the people who don't want him -- though I bet he gets an Elite eventually

This makes sense. Paul's fanbase is young and online, they're not in Target and WM. If you want crossover sales for a premium product, go where they are.
Nice figure. Not my thing, but I think it'll probably do well.

Solid choice for an offering. Everyone has a chance to get it if you want it. I think it's better than it being an exclusive that might clog pegs. Seeing the Logans joy about getting a figure was really cool. I'll be grabbing him. Hoping a Miz to match is coming around the time Logan releases. Cody did well, this will do well. 45.00 crowdfunders are an easier pill for collectors, higher ones are going to fail right now with the way money is, other costs are too high, toy collecting will get the shaft unless people have super disposable incomes.

Clicked the order button.
The coat design is brilliant. It is a good idea to release him as an exclusive ultimate edition. The box is unique looking enough.
I don't know though as soon as I ordered I felt that buyers regret feeling and am considering already cancelling it.
I don't know why I need it for my collection.
