I'll ignore the lack of detail in this Hogan shirt. I'm just happy it doesn't tear down the middle.  I actually think the torso works for this era of Hulk. I think it’s based off of uncensored 96 but the boots were different so I’m thinking it’s another mash up. I really wish mattel would consistent with the skintone. I like uniformity in my collection and let’s be honest hogan was always tan so I don’t understand the need to switch back and forth. Just go with the tan moving forward. Other than that this figure really does look great. I think the torso works from a visual standpoint, but every time I've had a figure using that mix of torso and arms, I always find the arms to be a bit too big from a functionality standpoint. Always seems to be a bit too stiff whenever I try to articulate the arms |

Everything else is an easy pass for me. Would get Hogan if the legs were thicker and they used like an Attitude Era Rock torso on him, but this pale, tiny, ripped torso is no more accurate than if they went full '80s tan and body and stands out more (IMO at least) than if they would've just went with the '80s body and tan. |

They are very close, but Uncensored Hogan and BATB Hogan were wearing different shirts and bandanas. This figure is from Uncensored(I think?).  BATB   Correct! This fig is most definitely from Uncensored 1996. Man! That main event was 💩 |

The Hulkster would have the biggest problem with that…. I think my issue with this Hulk, torso and skin tone aside, is that’s an old man Hogan head. It just doesn’t look good on anything pre 2015. They’ve perfected the 80s Hogan scan, but they have been missing the mark for 90s Hulk. |

It just doesn’t look good on anything pre 2015. They’ve perfected the 80s Hogan scan, but they have been missing the mark for 90s Hulk. I mean Hogan was pushing 45-50 years old around the late 90s, he wasn’t the youngest. And back then peoole kinda looked older than they actually were, now days people look younger than their age. I honestly don’t even pay attention to head scans, I have every Hogan mattel has made pre 2002ish and I couldn’t tell you anything about the head scans on those figures, I just open them and sit them on my shelves with the rest. The only head scans I can think of that just stuck out to me was the Edge test looking head and the Mick Foley head. Idk what series those were in, but I’m sure you will know the exact ones, those were terrible. |

The new WM 39 Hollywood has smaller shoulders and allows you to get easier movement. Hopefully this figure has the smaller shoulder joint too. |

Honestly one of the worst Hogan figures ever made.
He isn’t just missing the tan, he actually looks pale.
The torso is horrid and needs to stop being used on Hogan figures.

They are playing it real safe with the RA line arent they? "Retailers have demands yada yada, they want big names blah blah blah". Don't expect any midcard talent in that series or any other series other than maybe the odd Flashback figure in a mainlaine elite wave. |

It's great that they found a way to release a Ronda Rousey elite from Wrestlemania 35.
Also I like GM Stone Cold from Ruthless Aggression series. I will try to get that series I think.
Why they threw together that Hogan in legends 18 with pale skin, who knows? It stands out like a sore thb.

Gotta love “spreadsheet” Hogan with no tan. Was he smaller during this era? Yes. But he wasn’t skinny as hell. Mattel has been botching Hogan big time like they continue to give Austin figures skinny legs.

there has to be a different skin tone in between E96 Hogan and this right? because Hogan wasnt "hot dog tan" in 96 but he also wasnt "sheamus white"

I think they are going for the Hogan San Francisco Toy Makers Series 3 with the pale skin tone. Shame that they don't have Flair, Sting, Kevin Sullivan and The Nasty Boys under contract to build up a WCW 1994 collection.
I like it actually. Yes the torso is bad, but they have accessories to cover it up with his shirt. It looks better in box.
