I've never been more disappointed in a figure, especially now that those Ultimates have been dangled in front of us - those are incredible. Terrible head, terrible part choices, terrible color choices (again) and that's the worst part of the whole deal. Somebody over there needs to get to the bottom of this color situation, they botch so many iconic attires with awful color choices. These greens are all too warm. Just call in a favor to Chalkline and ask what TCX/PANTONE code they were using, they nailed it. Bummer man. Completely agree. Unless my eyes are failing, I see three shades of green used - the vest/elbow pad, the trunks/knee pads, and the boots. And none of them are the actual green that Razor even wore. Truly pathetic. Good to see the final product at retail has the cut sleeves for Undertaker, which makes it accurate! The influencers on Insta must have got the sample stock, which did not have cut sleeves per some of the proto shots above in this thread. So that’s one good reason to buy at retail rather than get freebies off Mattel!

It’s out now I found it today at the Palisades Center Target in NY. They also had L17 Warrior and HBK. But the release sedate on the app says it ships by Jan 13.  Sweet, so Taker has the cut sleeves, that's good. The green doesn't look good on Razor, it looks like three or 4 different shades. |

The green doesn't look good on Razor, it looks like three or 4 different shades. judging from the picture, the shades of green don't bother me much on razor. granted the boots would look better glossy and the vest would look better if it had a slight sheen to it. the elbow pad not matching the kneepads is the only small nitpick i have about it. now to make the decision whether or not i really want the set. i already have legends razor and undertaker, razor would be a lateral movement as far as display and unfortunately, the new aspects of undertaker(head and arms) would be covered up while displaying. totally indifferent to 123 kid |

If the knee pads matched the elbow pad it would be fine. Because they weren’t an exact match in real life because they were on 4 different materials so the vest was shiny. The pads and trunk were bright and then the boots were glossy. So while it might have been the same green it looked slight different on the various materials. But if the knee pads match the green of the elbow pad it would be more accurate. My only issue with Razor is the same that it’s been with all the Hall/Razor figures…they aren’t big enough. I just wish they would go back to the parts used for the RSC Hall figure. |
