Another cowboy-hatted Macho Man... I think you're becoming a fan... All these figures are favorites of mine as well, though, I do like the Legends Brain Busters in their black trunks more, but the HOF figures are great too. The Macho King and Ultimate Warrior DM figures are still my favorites from that line, just ahead of Bret Hart and Ricky Steamboat, hopefully we get an Ultimate Edition of the figure soon. I thought you would like all the Macho Man figures in this installment. Like I mentioned when I first decided to do this I had pics of figures stacked up for about 6 or 7 installments already. The next figure to start off the next installment will be the DM WMIII Savage. I’ve would have made this installment but I was so impressed with the Mega Powers figure I had to add him back his week. So this week was sort of a Macho Man appreciation week. lol |

Here’s installment #3… DM Starrcade’97 Sting -Amazon Exclusive Mankind -HOF Series 1 Ultimate Warrior - One of my favorite figures. Probably my favorite boots mold they use for Warrior. A favorite warrior of mine. Wouldn’t mind the newer longer tassels and it’d hold up better |

WM7 macho was my first mattel and it’s still arguably their best figure overall. I don’t even feel it necessary to have an ultimate remake. Though I’m sure many disagree with that since it’s a rare figure at this point and I guess there’s room for improvement (including a shirt for instance)

Though I’m sure many disagree with that since it’s a rare figure at this point and I guess there’s room for improvement (including a shirt for instance) I agree that the wm7 macho still holds up well. Since I had one MOC & loose, I did a headswap for the grittier expression awhile back. I always thought the wm7 warrior was in more need of an upgrade (lack of tassels, hair style off, etc) than macho. Even next to the new UE warrior the macho looks fine. That said, I think an upgraded macho would be welcomed just bc new technology would allow for improvements as well as the added articulation for the photography folks. |

More great choices. That Harley Race figure has to be an all-time best from Mattel, the head sculpt is spot-on, the part choices are perfect, and the purple attire really pops. That's probably the 2nd best Surfer Sting they released, looks great. Both of Ax and Smash came out great, too bad that's the only ones we've gotten. That new Taker is really good, he just needs to be paler, and it would be perfect. The HOF Big John Studd is really good to, so is the one they released in the Legends line. The Bret Hart figure is good too, looks like they are getting closer to a good Bret Hart sculpt. UE Sarge is another one of Mattel's best. The DM Savage is great, though the color of the trunks is off, needs to be pinker, but the robe is fantastic, he's just missing a sparkly cowboy hat and it would be perfect...

I wonder if the reason we haven't gotten a WM1 Piper is because they don't have the rights to the panther shirt. It's a shame though, as that is the definitive heel Piper - in my opinion. |

Great picks again. That head scan on bald HHH is amazing, one of the best. The WM12 Ultimate Warrior is a favorite of mine, I really hope we get more 1996 Warrior's, IYH2 attire is my top want for him right now. That KOTR93 Bret is also one of my favorite Bret's, such a great figure. Same with Bobby Heenan, that has to be the best Heenan figure they've released. And their John Nada figure turned out really well, putting the gun with him was a great decision.
