I’m all for it. NXT from 2017-2019 was my favorite era in wrestling.

Am I wrong in believing that they never stopped scouting and trying out indie guys? I know they switched up where they looked for talent but I don't think indie wrestlers ever stopped being part of them?
As for the actual talent, I don't care much for KC Navarro and have only really found him boring wherever I caught him whether it be MLW or Impact.. Kylie Rae and Colby Corino I have a more positive opinion of, I'd love to see Kylie Rae bounce back after these past few years.

Please bring in Kylie and let her show everybody how talented she is. Her being NXT Womens champ sounds great to me

Good. Hopefully they scrap the NIL thing Vince invented. Oh, and the audacity of him to call it that while the NCAA also used NIL lol.

Scouting talent from other sports and give them a good education may bring up some new talents. WCW did this with their Power Plant back in the 90s and they were pretty successful if I remember correctly. However it shouldn’t be the only scouting activity. Nothing wrong to scout for wrestlers too. Guys CM Punk, AK Styles, Finn Balor and Daniel Bryan were huge on the Indies before joining WWE and their addition to the roster paid off.

Lol @ the WCW Power Plant being successful.
Nobody outside of Goldberg did anything of note and Goldberg only worked because he was Bischoff’s answer to Austin being white hot.

The biggest star in wrestling history is a failed pro football player. Who cares if wrestlers come from other sports?

Back to? Since when did they not?
I know within the past 10 years I’ve seen Bryan Danielson as champion, Kevin Steen get to wrestle Stone Cold at Mania and Generico in the main event storyline.

I know they switched up where they looked for talent but I don't think indie wrestlers ever stopped being part of them? No, you’re right. Every couple of years or so, there’ll be a slow news day and the “no more indie WORKERS in WWE ever again” story gets trotted out for clicks and Fed Bads. And every year, WWE signs, develops and debuts more wrestlers from the indies. I don’t think there’s been a single year since WCW folded where WWE haven’t signed any indie wrestlers.
