Isn’t this the same shirt as the one that came with the Mega Powers?

Looks great! I kinda hate the front-opening tank top (apart from when posed ripping it) so I’d maybe prefer the tank top from the Storm Collectibles figure, or even modify the Hulk Rules shirt that came with Elite 34 Hogan. But that’s a minor quibble. This is a spot-on early 90s Hulkster.

Anyone know how the Storm Collectibles bandanas fit on the E96 head?

Yeah, i did the E96+SS mod too...except I didn't put the bandana on him. As for SS Hogan, he's put away now but I think Im going to try fitting one of the UE13 heads again(didnt think they scaled well when i first tried it) and making a Thunderlips custom out of him. That or his attire from his SNME match with Terry Funk.

I actually put the belt on Survivor Series Hogan. I don’t have a singlet YET. But what a figure. Totally overlooked and under appreciated as there’s just been so many Hogan figures. I’ve got Ultimate 13 Hogan coming, but I might even like Survivor Series Hogan more! The bandana is just perfect.

I'm kind of curious now. I wonder how the new Hulk Hogan torso will work for the early 90's Hulk and also old man Hogan. Hogan was still bigger during his match with The Rock. I think two torsos should of been created. Slim flabby Hogan and thicker bigger old man Hogan torso.

Possibly a very stupid question but are we taking head and body swap here? Or just putting the hulk rules vest on the E96? Surely that’s the easier fix? 😅

For the Elite Definitive Early ‘90s Hulkster, just put the tear away HULK RULES shirt and belt from the Summerslam figure onto the Elite 96 figure. If you want the Ultimate version of this, you take the head and bandana from Elite 96, and the belt and shirt from Summerslam, and put them on an Ultimate 13 Hogan body. However, you need to Dremel upward into the Elite 96 head in order to get the head to properly sit atop the neck and shoulders. The Elite technique is simpler by far. Of course, due to the great response to the Elite 96 head, I’m sure that we can expect an Elite 96 head on an Ultimate body next year or so. 🤪

Did this same swap, but gave him red kneepads from a basic and the E34 shirt.

If the kneepads don't slide off just take the boots off first but it usually works with a bit of wiggling and turning the pads. Just have patience.

But, in a way it kind of already has. Since it looks to me like the UE13 wild eyed Hogan head shares the same initial head scan as 96 just heavily altered in zbrush (or whatever sculpting program they use).

Heat up the boots, either by running a hair dryer over them, or dip the boots in a cup of boiled water (do not put the figure in the microwave). Then, pull the kneepads off and pop the boots back on. The key to the removal is to have the parts heated and pliable.
