I think the botch is a little on both of them but wow what a "pop" lmao and what a steaming pile of crap for a promo. Also noticed the back of her robe said BANKS. Like someone else already said, when Banks left WWE, nothing of value was lost. Just another case of someone like Ryback thinking they're worth more than they actually are when it comes to ticket sales. They drink too much of their own Kool-Aid.

I don't speak Japanese so I had no idea what the robe said on the back. I just assumed it said Mercedes or something like that.

No one should be surprised she botched.
We could’ve bet Mone on it.

Someone else had commented about it on another site and a few others that were in attendance confirmed it. I just thought that was an interesting detail. I didn't know either.

I mean, that debut was very much a train wreck, but they also weren't really setup for success with it. Kairi and Tam getting 5 minutes was really insulting and didn't set things up well at all. Crowd didn't really give a crap about the Stardom women anyways. Which, I think is fairly typical for Japanese crowds. Seems to be a pretty 'brand loyal' wrestling fandom. Lots of them won't pay any attention to Stardom or WWE. Debut was definitely more for us watching in N.A. and Europe. Hopefully the match in Cali gets real length.
I hope she changes her finisher, that's a difficult move to make look good for both parties. The botch was pretty bad and a little on both of them I would imagine, but it's a difficult move if she keeps it it's going to turn out like Starship Pain. But, the botch of the night award still clearly belongs to Karl Anderson lol.
So, bad debut but I'm still very very excited to see her wrestle a lot of the Japanese girls. I could care less if she's a crap promo anyways.

Also turns out the psycho's are still psycho's lol.
Usual wackadoodle twitter comments like "TRAITOR!!" and "Anyone who works for WWE and tweets supporting her should be PUNISHED". Hoooooly crap, 'Murica you be weird sometimes.
I also fear for the psycho's on the other side of the Mercedes spectrum, because while she probably won't lose in AEW for quite some time, when she does a lot of them are gonna have some reeeeeeal wacky meltdowns complete with death threats to whoever beats her.

She is literally the most polarizing wrestler I have ever seen when it comes to both sides. I just don’t get it…on both sides of the coin. Like I’m not a fan of her, but I also don’t think she is awful.

Her fan base on Twitter is the second worst fandoms in the IWC behind the AEW fans. Mercedes' fans put on this pedestal like she is the greatest women's wrestler of all time. I am sorry she isn't, she walked out because Vince McMahon had no plans for the Women's Tag Team Titles, wanted Naomi to win the match, and Sasha was going to get the match with Rousey for the title. I have no respect for unprofessionalism.

I’m not the diehard Sasha fan that I used to be, but I still like her. If she goes to AEW, great, I would definitely want to see her have matches/feuds with Britt, Jamie, Shida, Jade at the very least.

The two of them haven't said anything publicly. The company put out a statement that was full of horsesh*t about them calling their opponents unsafe and calling them "unprofessional" (ironic given the top two people in charge at the time were Johnny Ace and Vince McMahon, eh?). According to Sean Ross Sapp and people close to them, they were pissed off that the company couldn't give two s about the Women's Tag Team Titles in terms of actual creative effort to establish them and kept turning down all their pitches to get the titles some actual storylines (which, they still haven't even under HHH's regime) so they just threw the belts on Johnny Ace's desk and left the Raw taping. And nothing of any value was lost... and who would give a about anything, Naomi - of all people, is doing, or involved in? Anyway, I just hope they're gone for real - Vernado, especially, and won't be making any kind of 'surprise' return any time soon... or ever. Okay.

There’s nothing that Sasha Banks brought to the table, that others can’t or already haven’t done better.

With Sasha Banks, it’s people who have already lost their minds going on social media to wish death on her or her “enemies.” She has a truly special talent for bringing out the lunacy in so many wrestling fans.

Bryan Alvarez at one point stopped talking about her, because he admitted that he wasn’t a huge fan and was getting death threats….death threats because he doesn’t like a wrestler.
