I decided to make this thread because I have never really thought this hard about it before and I'm suddenly wondering if I am weird for this or not, but I don't ever really make my wrestling figures wrestle.
What I do instead is usually just pose them doing a signature pose from their entrance and then put them up on my shelf. I don't have any rings and that's more due to how small my house is and just not having the space for it and maybe if I did have a wrestling ring I would actually put them in poses where they're wrestling with each other.
For the rest of the loose collectors what do you do? Do you put them in a vanilla pose on your shelf? Do you do like I do and put them in signature entrance poses? Do you play with them? Photography? Animations? I'm very curious now to hear.

I like to do photography or pose them on shelves. For others I store them complete with all their accessories in individual bags.

Try to pose them in some signature pose, or a pose from that match/moment.

I try to pose them in signature poses or poses that would fit in with their character (ie Steamboat waving to fans). For some teams/partnerships, i usually have the figures interacting, usually a hand on the shoulder.

I put them at a normal pose since my space is limited but for next year i'm gonna try to start doing poses for the figures.

Mine are in a bucket. Loose accessories are in gallon size ziplocks. 😭 I also have a small house. I used to have a asr ring setup in my sons room but he is too old now and the ring is packed away. I get away with displaying a figure or two here or there around the house in signature poses. Currently I have UE 13 Hulk on a bookshelf and UE NWO macho on a bureau next to photo frames. My sons room has hbk w/arm around Sherri and Diesel standing behind. And elsewhere is the elite short hair flair (that I paid full retail price for and now see I could have bought for $7 during these ringside holiday sales )

Space has always been an issue for me. I do try to do poses but I try to do signature poses that don't require them taking up so much space. Plus I have some on risers with stands so they're mostly stuck with their legs having to be fairly straight and close together. Signature hands, alt heads, soft good and accessories do a lot of the heavy lifting.

I pose them in signature poses. I have more figures in storage than on display but I plan to rotate the figures I display every now and then.
I would like to set up at least one diorama-style display with a scale ring but I simply don't have the space. Especially since I prefer to display my figures behind plexiglass, I would need to build an extra large plexiglass display to keep dust out. For now my rings are staying boxed.

I mostly do signature poses, but due to space issues, a lot of them are just in a basic stance.
Those i have towards the front usually have a signature pose, unless there's certain detail i want on display. In that case, they'd be in a basic stance.

If they have a memorable pose, then I’ll try to pose in that position. Like Show doing the choke slam pose, Tito doing “Ariba!”, Hogan ripping shirt, WM7 no face paint Warrior looking at hands, HBK doing his flex, etc. But if not then just generic arms down, standing straight up on a shelf.

For the most part I go with signature poses if the figure looks right doing it. If not, I rend to go with some kind of pose (holding a microphone, fists up fighting stance, etc.) though on some of my more crowded shelves there are just "arms at the side" figures. I do a decent amount of figure photography when I open new figures, so I currently have my AEW basic ring on an accessible shelf and my New Gen Arena set up on a card table in the alcove that used to be my office closet.

Mostly mine are just standing there. Space is an issue for most people with large collections though.

I play with them then display them. I have a fig fed with my son for 10 years. The fed includes jakks ra style figures and mattel. We are on Wrestlemania 56.

I have a shelf for each era (WCW, Golden Era, New Generation, Attitude, WWE 02-07, PG 08-13, Network 14-19ish, New Era I don’t have name for (20-now), and NXT (12-21). So I typically place them in chronological order and next to rivals. Sometimes the figures are posed next to rivals taunting them, some are just a signature taunt.

I haven't played with figures in over two decades, I just pose them on a shelf. I have a super limited collection these days, and look at them more as art pieces than action figures. I posted this somewhere else on here, but here is my figure collection (minus all the Warriors in a box) and how they are posed.

I just have a detolf shelf with two of the slots being filled. I have them posed in a roster format. I used to animate my figures during my early teen years and also photograph them. Recently, I've sold off most of my Marvel Legends, DC Collectibles Batman figures and some of my Figuarts. My shelves consist of the WCW and WWE Monday Night wars roster sprinkled in with guys I like too.

I’ll try to do some form of pose.
HBK sprawled out flexing Taker throat slash Kane getting ready to set off pyro Batista thumbs up/down pyro spot
Things like that

Vanilla poses as you can fit more on the shelves that way.
