I get that it technically is now, but this feels like calling Star Wars (1977) a Disney movie to me.

Their lineage ends with WWE. Actually it still lives on within US title.

John Cena Wrestlemania 21, with full entrance gear (soft goods jersey) and the Undisputed belt Booker T in WCW attire with 5 WCW Championship Belts Hulk Hogan - Bash at the Beach 1996 Edge- First Money In The Bank cash in (with briefcase and belt) Razor Ramon- Wrestlemania 10 Shawn Michaels- Wrestlemania 12 Lex Luger- USS Intrepid AJ Styles- WWE debut Miz- Money in the Bank Cash In (soft goods shirt, smaller red briefcase, WWE championship) I never once thought about Mattel redoing that original AJ Styles Royal Rumble debut figure. It could be so much greater than what it was. (this is yet another time I noticed just how long Mattel has been making figures for, looking at AJ's debut as a "throwback" now)

Styles beating Cena at Summerslam would probably be his most defining moment in the WWE. Rumble was a cool “Holy Sh*t” moment but not necessarily defining. He wasn’t really doing much until he started feuding with Cena. After going over clean at SS is when he became the “Face that Runs the Place.” That is what best defines his WWE career.

I wonder if this might be another potential venue for Asuka to finally come with a robe.
Would they be more likely to make Hell in the Cell Cody here or put him in the Elite mainline?

I'd love to see this be where we finally get a WCW debut Scott Hall (Nitro, 5/27/1996, denim vest and jeans) Elite.
It makes me kinda wish that we hadn't gotten a WrestleMania 35 Kofi yet. That figure is sorely missing his entrance vest (and a matching Woods & Big E!).

With Steve wanting it to stick with actual defining moments, what are some you can see happening? It would be criminal not to do Bret Hart from the screw job match. Huge defining moment, we have the Shawn for that match already and it means we get another all black, Hart foundation jacket Bret but is different so not a straight re-release for those who have the original Hart foundation defining moments Bret which is so expensive now. Ticks many boxes

This is EPIC news and I am so happy we finally get another Mankind. Been after him for so long!
If this line does stay true to it's theme "Defining Moments" their are some really special ones I hope for this line. Do we know how many superstars will be in each release?
I would to see something like RVD (one night stand), Shawn Michaels from WM12, Edge from KOTR2001, Ivan Koloff 1971 (ending Bruno's reign) or BATB Hogan. Just to name a few.

👎👎 I want an ultimate mankind, not an elite defining moment. So long there's no Nakamura's in this line, it should be okay I suppose. I've yet to see a defining moment from that guy. That second version of Defining Moments was mostly just a way to squeeze some extra cash out of an elite of new “bigger” signings like Nakamura, Ramon, Hogan, Sting etc. If it fit a defining moment, bonus, but there was definitely not strict criteria. Hopefully this time the figures will actually be based on defining moments - the Mankind one certainly looks like it fits that.

Hulk Hogan Wrestlemania 3 needs a redo with the updated tan used in his most recent figures ie Elite 96.
