“It’s a discussion board. People can have a different opinion.” “I don’t like his differing opinion. Nor can anyone agree with his opinion.” … too good. 🤣🤣 Preach.

Mattel should do a partnership where you get exclusive figures once a month for attending therapy sessions.

This has always been the problem here. " tripleass has the best take, I'm tripleasses friend and I come running to his defence because I love him". Believe it or not this is a discussion board, and people should be able to have an opinion without being corrected on it. You read half a post and can't contain your inner karen. "Omg I need to reply and everyone has to know me and triples are tight" You defend the raw ring by telling me how good it is......yeah I know Tom..I ordered one and said it was great. All I said (multiple times) is that the timing was poor. I knew a few people who didn't have the ring they paid to have made while mattel was beginning to punt the raw ring. A small interval of time is nothing really, few months would have been fine. So it'd not about defending the need for a raw ring tom, nor is it about you defending your pals honour or anything, don't worry. I'd never hurt her I'm re-reading my original post and failing to see where I am defending any one person's honor, where I'm saying you said the raw ring sucked or where I said you couldn't voice your opinion. I also see the core point of the post which is that between the months later that RSC started shipping the Raw ring and the months after that when MC will start shipping the Raw ring...that there is indeed 'a small interval of time' between when the New Gen Arena shipped and when the Raw ring shipped. You can keep using the word 'punt' to try and drive home your point that the ring was rushed out but it just doesn't track with what actually happened. If you want though I can ask Mattel and maybe someone can reach out and perhaps coordinate shipment scheduling with you from now on? Or is it just that you like to call people karen on the internet whenever it seems like you might have a chance to? I always thought of myself as more of a brenda anyway

At least the Mattel board has thick enough skin to withstand debates, speculation and a little bickering.
The Jazwares board, however? Pretty thin skinned depending on the topic.

I'm probably going to buy this one soon. I'm kind of spergy about keeping separate the characters of different periods, otherwise it's "video game wrestling," as if Texas Tornado versus Kevin Nash of the nWo period makes any dimensional sense other than to squash him in 3 minutes. Different eras, ages, move sets, aesthetics. I'm only confused about Jakks (real scale, I think), Mattel authentic, Wicked classic. I got the cage for the Wicked Toys one that took me forever to figure out. Would that cage fit this in the New Generation ring? I bought that one recently but it has yet to arrive. I looked at the pictures of the Jakks Hell in a Cell. How were people supposed to play with that? Seems like it was only for display, which wouldn't surprise me since Jakks seemed to have the worst QC imaginable I’m with you. As a child, I would’ve loved to have the NWO invade WWF and attack DX and Bret Hart join the Corporation. As a deranged adult I’m like, “That’s not the way it happened! Everything has to be separate!” and thus no fun is allowed to be had and imaginations must be kept running mild. As for the rings, this is where I get real spergy. So, the Jakks Real Scale Ring (RSR) measures at 20”x20” roughly. There are advertising posters that claim it’s 22”x22”, but it is not. I measured mine and it’s 20x20. Chalk it up to classic Jakks marketing being misleading about the final product. When Mattel took over the license they released the WWE Raw Elite Scale Ring (ESR). This was the only one Mattel released. It measures at roughly 22.5”x22.5”. Years later, the company Wicked Cool Toys released the Authentic Scale Ring (ASR) which used the same molds that Mattel had made for their scale ring. There are slight variations between the posts, but they’re mostly the same. And then Wicked Cool Toys released a bunch of Authentic Scale Rings and accessories. Then Mattel released the Main Event Ring which is the light-up modern ring and measures at 20”x20”, but it’s height is too short so it’s not properly scaled to figure height. And now we have the New Gen/Attitude Era Ultimate Scale Ring that measures at I think 21.5”x21.5”. I personally think these new scale rings are the best ones yet. But the Authentic Scale Ring steel cage you got will sadly not fit on these new rings. They’re an inch too big.

I always thought of myself as more of a brenda anyway Brenda's are nicer to be fair. I'm not saying they were shipped together, but due to delays people didn't have their set..and the advertising had begun on the raw set...that was made using the mold the people had paid for. I'm not demonising anyone...I just think a larger window of time would have allowed people to get their sets ..and then sold the repaint.

Not that I want to keep going with this but who is saying they didn't get their Arena due to delays? I am pretty regularly on the pulse of complaints or problems when it comes to wrestling toys as it is and I can't think of anyone other than you in this thread who has brought that up. If it did happen, it was surely a small minority who have hopefully gotten them by now and then an even smaller minority who were concerned with the delay so they could sell a portion of the order?

New Gen is polarizing anyway. I'm surprised people are nostalgic about that period. It was booking genius to make a lot of viable stars from scratch of those who never got a break, while trying to pass off people like Bret Hart as competitive with his forebears. The production substantially declined (it was almost like fog overcame the television screen), undercard often SMW castaways just to fill TV, tag teams depleted and heatless, chief storylines silly, McMahon stuck in "What would my dad have done in the 1970's?" with ethnic tribute acts like Tatanka, Albano, Headshrinkers (modern Wild Samoans), and Bob Backlund; women's wrestling treated semi-seriously, old foggies brought in like Nikolai Volkoff, among other things. It's a miracle that they did so much with so little in such a short period of time, since it seemed like week by week the company was struggling to find its voice through really arbitrary experimentation, sometimes with smarks at Raw and families at Superstars and Challenge. It was surreal to see in contrast to the 80's. Licensing was deplorable in that period too. Like the "Bend 'ems" being their main toy line for two years 😪 My reservation about the Attitude Era is that the undercard throwaways were a lot more amusing, and Mattel will never make people like the undercard gangs, Flash Funk, Sultan (well, maybe they will), Oddities, and the rest. With the passage of time, that gets harder to do since normies will never buy people like that. It's one of those weird periods where the top guys were so over that the product designers seem to forget a good 40% of the roster. (Tiger Ali Singh was funny af) The heart and soul of a product will always be the undercard, not just the main guys. They reflect the tempo set by the main event talents. I'm thankful for the two sets because it's nice to have the eras be delineated. The shifts were really subtle over a few brief years until it was decided to pull the gun entirely in moving towards a more mean-spirited taste that appealed to Gen X types over yuppie Cold War kids of the 80's and a smorgasbord of demos during the New Gen Are you sure you are not referring to AEW?

Can definitely name more Roman matches I’d rather watch than Kenny ones. All subjective.
