Captain Lou as Super Mario confirmed for the SDCC Exclusive I think the problem would be Nintendo in that situation, as long as Lou had a WWE deal that is Yeah I don’t see a way where they could even alter the presentation to get around the licensing. |

Those all make sense for the coming year. And any new faces are always welcomed. While there aren't as many first time in the line figures, they've done a killer job with the ones available to them.
Some other names to keep an eye out for at some point. No figure specific info, but going off of license availability in other properties.
Bruno Sammartino (I'd love old man Bruno in the CC line)
Great Khali - Elite in the RA set?
D'Lo Brown appears to be back under a deal. I think his expired after his first figure. Maybe we can get a complete NOD finally, sans Owen.

Seems legit. I also don’t understand the fascination this place has with wanting to know leaks. Part of the fun is seeing the figures get revealed. Wrestling fans love spoilers - that’s not exclusive to wrestling fans, but it’s very prominent in hardcore wrestling fandom. It stems from the whole “you know it’s fake, right?” insecurity. There’s a desire to be an “insider” judging “the business” rather than a “mark” who thinks the fights are real. Gotta know all the upcoming plans and rumours and whatnot. If that type of fan is into the toys, then that same approach extends to the toys as well. Lots of geeky fandoms are similar, but fans of most shows are more conscious that it’s telling a story, so they tend to be more wary of spoiling it for themselves. When Breaking Bad was on, I was avoiding spoilers rather than looking at blogs to see which actors were going to be buried or shoved down our throats by the next season finale. But in wrestling, I’m always checking out “WrestleMania 39 plans leaked?” clickbait. And I always click on the upcoming figure rumours. |
