Rough mania but still better than WCW. Rock and Austin was great as was surprisingly Xpac and Shane The best in their Mania trilogy IMO

WWF
The fact WCW had a stipulation in a championship match puts me off straight awa. Benoit/Malenko v Hennig/Windham feels must see though.

This one is closer than expected but still Mania. Austin vs Rock sells it for me.
Plus I like four corners match for Ic match and tag title match
WCW I like Nash vs Rey, the dog collar match Booker T vs Steiner and the Tag title match but still--Rock vs Austin

Neither were great, but I give the slight nod to WWF.

WWF although it was a rather weak Wrestlemania. Austin vs Rock 1 was great but most of the undercard leaves a lot to be desired. WCW wasn’t unwatchable, but nothing really sticks out. WWF for me because Wrestlemania is a buy no matter what.

For March it has to go to Wrestlemania XV
I mean, it's Wrestlemania!! It has to win. Plus Austin vs. Rock was exciting, even if the under card looked like an episode of Monday Night Raw.

WWF Backlash wins this one!
I remember watching both these shows and I enjoyed the WWF one way more. And even going into those events, the WWF build up was so much better.
So WWF wins!

WWF Backlash!
I was even mroe hyped for this Rock vs Austin match than I was the one at WrestleMania, Shamrock vs Taker, HHH vs X-Pac and the Outlaws vs Owen and Jeff were also matches I was into.
To be fair, Spring Stampede had some stuff I was interested in, the main event as well as Nash vs Goldberg, but by this point, I was starting to watch WCW out of habit and if I missed a week here or there I was never all that bothered.

Close call here but I will give WCW this one. I was slightly more invested in the 4 way for Big Gold

WWF for April. Backlash 99 was a great card and home to the best Austin vs Rock match to boot.

Backlash gets my vote for the Austin/Rock rematch, which I enjoyed more than the Mania match. It’s close though, Spring Stampede was enjoyable but WWF gets the slight edge.

Though Savage returning piqued my interest, I'll still go with WWF, the Austin/Rock/McMahon stuff was so good.
