Neither show stands out as great to me, but WWF for this month. The six-pack challenge was unique where you felt five of the six competitors could legit win the thing. Outside of the Kennel From Hell, the undercard was strong as well.
This is where WCW really fell off for me (the wheels had already come off in the months prior, but things started to fall off a cliff by this point). The return of the “red and yellow” lost its effect quick, turning sting heel was idiotic, and the undercard was forgettable despite some big names there. Sid/Benoit and Goldberg/DDP are ok from an in-ring standpoint, but the rest is a total miss.

WWF for September. At this point the only thing I knew about WCW was that Sting was heel & I wanted no part of that sh#t

WWF by a mile,
I had zero interest in most of what WCW was doing here, especially Hogan vs Sting again.
The WWF show on the other hand had a lot of stuff I was looking forward to, the Six Pack Challenge, the Outlaws vs Edge & Christian and at this time i was all in on Y2J and I was sure that his match with X-Pac was going to be a showstealer!

Ridiculous move by a desperate company that was about to sink lower than anyone could have ever imagined. |

I'm pretty surprised Luna was still with WCW this late in the game. I thought she was fired early 90s for getting into a fight with Sable???

I'm pretty surprised Luna was still with WCW this late in the game. I thought she was fired early 90s for getting into a fight with Sable??? I think she got sent home but not fired and they brought her back. According to Gangrel there were plans to put her with him, but then he got hurt and was out for quite an awhile. He came back and at that point had lost his spot and was a JTTS at that point. |

For September I am picking WCW over WWF.
I remember it was around this time for me that I started enjoying the matches and feuds that WCW was doing so I will pick WCW.
