I'm looking forward to these and the Mega Man lines. Their Universal Monster and food mascot lines look fun too. I watched the Fwooshcast interview and I'm pulling for Jada. They look like their putting their best efforts into these lines. Having another toy company that wants to put out amazing figures is always a good thing. I also like how the Mega Man figures will be cheaper price then the other lines since they're smaller.

The Mega Man figures are going to be $20 iirc. I feel you on the SOTA figures, but seeing as I have already parted with the few I had, I have nothing to lose! Really hoping they manage to make the perfect SF2 Akuma. He's had a lot of great figures, but none have really captured this look other than the PCS 10th Anniversary statue. I already have a personal list of predictions for the future waves too that's how excited I am!

Werent the SOTA figures larger than Marvel Legends? They were 6" figures, so they were about the same overall. Not sure about scaling between the two lines though.

Gonna be hard not to start an X-Men vs Street Fighter themed shelf with these staring at me on the pegs. I know very little about MegaMan so besides that first original figure, I probably won't commit to the line until I see a MegaMan X & Zero. Will definitely jump on the SF stuff though, I've always wanted them in figure form and missed out on the SOTA figs back in the day. Rooting for Jada for sure.

I’ve been following this line and checking out the Toymigos episodes where they have Juhn on showing the figures. For $25 each I’m probably gonna be all in, they look great.

Generally these look very good, but Ryu looks way too wide and thick for my liking.

(I still love my Ryu figure though) That being said, I do wonder if they plan to rework series 1 to be more in-line with Juhn's vision; that is to resemble the character select portraits. Imo, Ken and Bison look pretty faithful whereas series 1's designs may have been earlier in development. That, and I did find this low quality prototype image with a preview of the packaging design that shows what I think is a more accurate Ryu for this plan:

Generally these look very good, but Ryu looks way too wide and thick for my liking. If it’s based on early SFII aesthetics, Ryu is pretty stocky. I know they did eventually slim him down, but I didn’t think that was until the Alpha series.

I know they did eventually slim him down, but I didn’t think that was until the Alpha series. Funnily enough, the proportions were a little more exaggerated in the alpha series! That being said, considering how characters appeared in the animated film, I don't mind it too much. To me, it isn't as bad as say, Street Fighter 4 or 5.

I think these rule and I'm totally in on them. Price seems great on them too.

Like any SF (or Mortal Kombat) line, my only hesitation comes from wondering who they'll release and if they'll get to the entire Super SF II cast at minimum.

Like any SF (or Mortal Kombat) line, my only hesitation comes from wondering who they'll release and if they'll get to the entire Super SF II cast at minimum. Going off of the videos I've seen, each wave will consist of 2 popular characters and 1 less popular character. This is why you have characters like Ryu and Chun Li (who you would immediately expect to be in wave 1) with Fei Long (who hasn't gotten a figure since the SOTA Toys days). Likewise, Juhn has stated that it is his goal to complete the original 16 character roster first. With this information in mind as well as the case for deluxe (larger) figures, these are what are confirmed and my personal predictions (still not sure about Blanka and Zangief's placements): CONFIRMED Series 1: (2 World Warriors + 1 New Challenger) Ryu (Fireball) Chun Li (Kick FX) Fei Long (Flame Kick) Series 2: (2 World Warriors + 1 Boss) Ken (Fireball) M. Bison (Psycho Arm FX) Dhalsim (Stretched Limbs) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PREDICTIONS Series 3: (2 World Warriors + 1 New Challenger) Guile (Sonic Boom) Zangief (Banishing Flat FX) [or Blanka] Dee Jay (Max Out) Series 4: (Remainder of non-deluxe SSF2 roster) Cammy (Removable Hat) Sagat (Tiger Shot) Balrog (Swappable bare torso) Series 5: (Remainder of SSF2T & base USF2 roster) Akuma (Red Fireball) Evil Ryu (Purple Fireball) Violent Ken (Pink Fireball or Shoryuken FX) Deluxe figures: (Waves of two or individual releases) Blanka (Electric FX) [or Zangief] E. Honda (1000 Hand Slap FX) (Somewhere between wave 2 and 3 to finish the World Warriors) Vega (Removable Claw) T. Hawk (Hawk) (Somewhere between wave 4 and 5 to finish the bosses and New Challengers) Exclusive: Shin Akuma (Red Aura FX)

I'm good with characters from other games even, as long as they don't end the line before they get the "classic" characters in.

I'm good with characters from other games even, as long as they don't end the line before they get the "classic" characters in. Thanks. Initially, I just made predictions based on these principles, but then I found the results of an Event Hubs character popularity poll that lined up pretty closely with my general line up. If you look closely, you'll notice all of the less popular characters are kind of in the middle area with the more popular ones being at or closer to the top. I assume the evil shotos are lower on the list due to being mostly copy and paste characters (and more reason to release them later than the order of roster completion I had in my head) I edited the image of the results to only have the USF2 cast colored in to make it easier to compare: Other than that, I would also be on board for other characters/ installments being done. After playing some of the alpha series again, I really did forget how cool some of the other characters and different designs were. Really need some good Alpha Ken and Ryu action figures made as well as Guy and Charlie.

I hate his voice 😄 but I'd have Adon above some of the USF2 characters as far as wants. And I'd also want Alpha versions of Ryu, Ken, and Sagat to go with "regular" versions (just to name a few). Alpha Sagat is the look that I first truly loved for him even though he had always been one of my favorites up to that point. It finally made him the menacing bada** he was supposed to be.
