Oh man, I remember it like it was yesterday. I raced home from work to watch it (Jiminy Christmas, I'm old).

I was over 2 years old and my brother was 9 so it was probably on the tv but I don’t remember it. My first Raw memories are from 1994

I did not have cable at this time, so I did not get to see the first Monday Night Raw. I was still getting my information from WWF Superstars. Later in the year, I did go over to my friend's house to watch Raw (same thing with WCW Saturday Night), but not often. It wasn't until 1995 that I started watching every Monday Night Raw, and Nitro for that matter, after we got cable. Although by today's standards the Raw episodes back then would seem very bland/boring, at the time, it wasn't. Getting to see two big-ish named talents wrestle each other on live TV was great. Prior to Raw, the only time you saw to big stars face each other was on a PPV or SNME, with the exception of that sometimes occurring on Superstars - though that was usually something like the Bushwackers vs the Nasty Boys or Bret Hart vs Skinner.

I lived in Canada, so that was strike 1 for me not seeing any early Raw episodes. I also didn't have cable TV so when Raw did come to Canada on TSN, that was strike 2 for me not seeing any early Raw episodes. My earliest Raw memory is June 1996 when we got a satellite dish. But I did go through and watch all the Raw episodes on the WWE Network back in 2015, and I did enjoy those early Raw shows. The fans were almost like ECW fans with some of the chants they had for wrestlers. Luckily you didn't miss much. RAW was garbage till 1997. I tried to go back & watch the early years when the Network came out. But even at 1hr length they are too hard to get through. Thank God for the Monday Night Wars.
