what's the timescale on these now?? and absolutely no updates on ETAs for a product which was advertised as coming in 2023....

History repeating itself I'm pretty sure by now everyone has heared about that "rumble" in the middle East that's messing up worldwide shipping of containers (whether they contain toys, clothes, electronics or food)... Also; Chinese New Year is coming up: that's two weeks of festivities in China and little to no production or shipping... |

I mean, pretty sure we ALL saw this coming. History repeating itself I'm pretty sure by now everyone has heared about that "rumble" in the middle East that's messing up worldwide shipping of containers (whether they contain toys, clothes, electronics or food)... Also; Chinese New Year is coming up: that's two weeks of festivities in China and little to no production or shipping... Still doesn’t explain the lack of update. If they are pushed back, just tell us. That’s what most companies do. |

again, these were advertised as "Coming in 2023!" when he originally announced them, and now its a vague "...... in 2024"
all he has to say is when they're due, he's hardly shy about announcing signings for figures we won't see for 24 months but can't give any information about a line he claimed he's been working on in the background for some time
and to think he was giving Chella crapfor not announcing what was going on with Dynamite and Sabu....  |

No pre orders yet for these. Pre orders for Sabu were opened 20 months ago. They deserve crap for that. Ehhhh yes and no. The people who bought out the company took some time to sort everything. Sabu hadn’t been put into production when they bought the company (September of 2022?). So around a year to be made is fairly reasonable for a new company who is doing something like this for the first time and wants to do it right. They announced in October that it was entering the final stages of production before being packaged and shipped. It was expected to be in stock in December. About two weeks ago, it was announced there was a packaging production delay which pushed Sabu into mid January (2024). To the best of my recollection, they are doing this expensive endeavor out of pocket. The original owner of Chella is the one who had put Sabu up for preorder. The current owners took on that debt (and took down the ability to pre order shortly thereafter). It sounds as though May through November of 2022 was a complete waste. Can’t say I blame anyone for having a bad taste in their mouths over this entire experience but when it’s broken down, the timetable seems fairly reasonable. |

That Sabu is gonna look great on my ECW shelf, just like their Dynamite Kid looks great with the Elite 80 something Bulldog and Matilda. That line has its own thread though.
Zombie hasn't taken any of our money, so it's not the same. I just want more information because his retro line is amazing (I don't collect) and I have the highest of hopes for the Elite-scale line.

All this talk about the Chella Sabu has reminded me that I’ve waited all this time for an attire that makes no sense (not even sure it’s a real attire?) so will be selling it as soon as it arrives anyway. 😅
