The fact that winter is around the corner means I have some important things to sort out with my insurance company. With the colder weather approaching, it’s essential to ensure that everything is in order, especially when it comes to home and auto coverage. I finally found the hastings direct contact number here, and I'm planning to give them a call first thing tomorrow morning. I want to discuss my current policy and see if there are any adjustments I should make for the winter months. |

went to pay the car registration for my girlfriend’s car
she traded in her previous one last year so she had taxes on it to pay too that we didn’t know or think about
Had the lady check my stuff and I had taxes for my previous car I traded in in June and a car that my mom bought in 2021
was not expecting to spend over $500 today

Last year I got stung twice by a big ass Asian Hornet on the side of my calf. Went up my pant leg and I didn't even know it until I heard it buzzing after I got stung. I have neuropathy down my right leg to my foot starting at my calf but there are certain spots where I have various grades of feeling there to no feeling at all. I was so lucky it stung me at two spots where I can't feel anything. An 1/2 inch higher or to the side I would have felt it. I did feel when the venom started effecting it, it made me itch like crazy BUT one of the problems with that is, when I get an itch where it's numb I can't even scratch it to stop an itch there. |

Picking the laundry up off the bathroom floor this morning I got stung on my finger by a yellow jacket. And this one hurt way more than the one on my arm or chest.  |

Was in the Dollar Tree the other day and what did they have there? Double Chocolate Twinkies. WTF, since when is that a thing? Why do all these awesome things come out when I no longer eat that stuff? It's not fair! NOT FAIR!

Paternity leave is over. Back to work for me with a 1 year old who doesn't have daycare until March. Very fun stuff.

The engine on my truck died today so I either have to fork out 10k on a new engine for an already seven year old truck or go to a dealership and spend somewhere north of 50k on a new truck. Neither choice I'm looking forward to.
