Ok, let's see if I can do this. First up, here are the Coliseum "variants" I received when I opened up my Hogan vs Funk set from Mattel Creations. You can tell I was hasty with the third switch up. Wait how many hogan variants are there in the colliseum collection? None. I think they are all Fixups. |

Does anyone have any news about the WWE Wrekkin Slam Cycle that was supposed to come with Hulk Hogan? There was only one picture/sighting seen at SDCC and nothing since then. 🏍

I bought one of those Drew McIntyre motorcycles to do just this for the Target Legends Hogan. I like a lot of the stuff from the Slammin line. They just need to be "Elited up" a bit with a custom paint job.

I can’t love this enough! If I ever did a display of all one wrestler, it would definitely be Hogan!
That all-white attire is very slick! If you don’t mind me asking, what was your formula for that? I was thinking Hogan had a unique crotch piece, and I can’t think of one in white.

Love the hogan setup. He's my all time favorite wrestler, and I love how you used the various Colisuem heads.

Madness, It’s an Ultimate 13 Hogan with the boots and trunks switched out. You can use any suitably sized white boots (Ultimate style Coliseum Hogan for example, or the boots from Elite Zodiac Beefcake). The trunks are from a Zodiac Beefcake figure I got loose on EBay. I did the old heat and crack method to remove the legs and upper torso. Then, I used clear nail polish to remove the black stripes from the trunks piece. Once assembled, I had an all white Hulkster. I’ve done some switching up lately. I’ll take pics when I get the chance. |

So I’m watching some older stuff on Peacock, and I’m looking at Trips Vs Hogan at Backlash 2002.
I paused it a couple of times cuz I still flirt with the idea of doing a custom Backlash “New, Undisputed WWF Heavyweight Champion, Hollywood Hulk Hogan.”
But the thing is, can an accurate one even be done?
He’s got the yellow flame boots with his face, a red “Hulkamania Is Still Running Wild” shirt, the first/smaller Undisputed belt, the black knee brace, yellow tights with red splotches…
Even if all of that can be assembled, it’s too many separate pieces for me to bother with.

I thought about it, but that’s not a must have for me. They are all "must-haves", brother. I don't know, man. Even I, a true red and yellow blooded Hulkamaniac, is feeling pretty Hulked Out. As I was taking pics of my Oompa Loompa - er, I mean my Superstars figures - I took a look at my display. I've added a couple to my collection (different apparel changes). But there's only so many Hulks I want with just a different bandana or headband, or even shirt. I'd upgrade to a cloth yellow HULKAMANIA shirt, or a cloth AMERICAN MADE. But if truth be told, I'm not even that pumped up for the 40th Anniversary set, which is pretty crazy seeing how into these figures I was.
I'll get the Ichiban figure, 'cuz I remember with great fondness an interview on some old television news entertainment show (Evening Magazine, I think...) that featured Hulk in maybe December 1983, which is just before he came back to the WWF and everything took off like lightning. He wore black trunks, the silver boots, and a black AMERICAN MADE shirt in a lot of that footage, so that upcoming Elite figure of Hulk in black is appealing. Other than that, I really just want a good Ultimate edition of 2002 HULK STILL RULES. One preferably done properly. Meaning, the right boots, the right shirt, the Undisputed Belt, the correct bandana, etc. Because I'm weary of having to "correct" the Matter offerings. Sure, customizing is fun, but you shouldn't have to customize the vast majority of official releases. I love the Mattel stuff, but...
Anyway, sorry to drone on. Here's my latest display.
