No, although I’d love a Lesnar/Sheamus program. I think that would be tremendous.

Not at all. Their three previous matches (four counting the Triple Threat) were fine enough. Cena's WWE schedule is extremely limited so I'd rather not see that wasted on something we've already seen before.

For much of the last decade, Sheamus has been a tag/midcard guy way beneath Brock’s level, so he’d only have been a house show squash opponent. And Brock has been locked in to long feuds at times with HHH, Taker, Reigns etc. I hope Sheamus’ resurgence over the last year or two does mean we get a real match between him and Lesnar this year.

They could have a Hell In The Cell or cage match.

Id love to see Sheamus vs Lesnar. Seems unlikely now though...

And people wonder why the WWE doesn't create new stars. It's because of the fans, IMHO. It's time to get over Hogan, nWo, DX, Cena, Rock, Lesnar, etc.

These big matches don’t even need to be for the World Titles. I’d say as long as the current talent get showcased enough then why not pull off these big matches again? Just my opinion anyways.

I’d say it’s great to have new established talent but it’s also cool to have some old timers around as well. SummerSlam 05 is a good example, you got Hogan vs HBK in the main event while Cena & Batista in both World Title matches plus a veteran Taker vs a young talent Orton.

I was pumped when Goldberg initially came back at survivor series years ago, and Austin/Owens was a great moment without question.

IMO, using older stars can be tricky. You can’t just have them beat everyone. You also can’t just have everyone beat them.
It’s a difficult balance, I’m sure. One that most tv wrestling shows have never found. AEW’s use of Sting is exceptional, for example, but he’s well over 60. A 45 year old Brock or Cena is a completely different animal so there’s so many varying factors to it

I agree with you on Goldberg vs Lesnar & Austin vs Owens, both great moments in history. I’d love to see more of that happen.
