Hello
I am not very familiar with the different versions of figures, be it Mattel or Jakks. I haven't had anything to with figures since my AWA Remco and WWF LJN days as a kid. Those figures have been standing on top of a bookshelf for years.
This Christmas my son got me a HHH figure from Summerslam 98 and an NWO Savage Ultimate figure as a surprise. This got me wanting to get a few more, so I was hoping someone could assist me where to find (if available) the following
A HHH figure based on his 1999-2000 Run
A HHH figure based on his 1997-98 run witb HBK
An HBK figure based on 1997-98 Heel run as champ
I already found the Mania 3 Savage and am looking to get one. Did they make a Steamboat for Mania 3?
I greatly appreciate any help you can give.

If you’re looking for something with minimal markup in the secondary market then
99/00: Elite Series 23 attire he wore when turning heel prior to switching to trunks
97/98 HHH DX: Elite 2 pack with Chyna
97/98 HBK DX: Ultimate Edition series 4

Thanks a ton. Yeah, I can see my list growing. The old AWA Remco guys need some new blood.
I see that Ultimate HHH is pretty pricey...that sucks as that is a great looking one.
I am going to look at the other options you listed, including that Steamboat!!
As much as I would like to get them all boxed, getting them complete but unboxed may not be a bad option.

For the hHh trunks Triple H there’s also an Elite 2-Pack, but the hHh logo is in gold.   I repainted the hair and added the knee brace in this pic.  |

What is everyone's opinion's on loose vs boxed? If you are gonna be pretty selective and keep a small collection then boxed is fine. Space becomes the main issue, but I know a lot of adult collectors prefer in box. Selling also is easier if they’re still mint in box. Loose is the best way to get the most out of them though. They come with all sorts of alternative heads and hands plus like 30 points of articulation so it feels like a waste to keep such great figures in box. When I only had 10 or so I had them boxed, but opened a couple and it snowballed. I only keep ones in box now that are packaging I like or one I buy double of. All up to your preference and space availability though. And how cool your spouse/partner is… |

What is everyone's opinion's on loose vs boxed? I collect now, but played with figures as a kid. So I can’t leave em in the box. Not smashing them together or anything but these move much better than jakks n it feels almost criminal to not bust em out and pose them around on the shelf. Also space wise I can’t imagine how I’d display half my collection of it was MOC |

What is everyone's opinion's on loose vs boxed? Ah., the oldest question…. They are so excellent both ways, there is no true answer except a mixture of both perhaps just whatever pleases the soul. That’s what I do anyways. |

I keep most of my collection MOC but have around 60-70 loose and see reasons why a person would do both. That Ultimate Trips is in my top 5 favorite figures in my collection, I think I ended up buying 4 or 5 of them.
