To me these are the best two eras in wrestling and I’m just curious of preference. I grew up watching during the early/mid 90’s so I saw all of the attitude era but I still prefer the ruthless era mostly the smackdown side of that era but the roster at that time across both shows was pretty damn solid

Attitude easily but Ruthless did have some great moments. I loved both . Attitude has some of my all time moments but for some reason I always find myself gravitating to ruthless era stuff when I watch older shows

Attitude Era and honestly it isn't even close. I was 16 in 1996...I was the fan that was tired of Hogan, straight up faces etc...I was the kind of fan the nWo brought back in.
From 1996-mid 1999 there was a cant miss aspect to both shows. RA had its highlights for sure & it contains some of my favorite matches & moments but it cant hold a candle to the AE.

Attitude Era for me. I did not like the Ruthless Aggression era, that was when I stopped watching wrestling on a regular basis and I haven't been back. My favorite era would be the late 80s to early 90s, that was when I started getting into wrestling. The Attitude Era, or, the Monday Night Wars era, was really fun, a lot of great moments. Every week was most watch.

Attitude Era gets my vote, I know the cool thing is to hate on it these days, but it was must see TV each week, most of the roster had something to do and it was truly exciting.
I liked the ruthless aggression era as well and think that there were some great moments, but for me this is not even close.

Where as Ruthless Aggression had better matches, the Attitude Era was just more fun and iconic for so many reasons.
It was during the Monday Night War, Austin was the man, DX was the group you wanted to be in, you had Rock, Undertaker, Kane, Mankind, plus most of us were in our teenage years during that time so it just connects with that era for us.
Plus you get the Jakks Bone Crunching Action figures too during that time which were so much fun to play with.
So Attitude Era gets my vote!

attitude era.
I didn’t live through hulkamania so seeing a wrestling boom was exciting.

Hate to say it but the Ruthless Aggression Era was mostly trash.
You had stuff like HLA, the Raw Diva Search, I'm Your Papi, the awful 06 DX, bikini contests, Katie Vick. The list goes on.
Don't get me wrong there was some good stuff but unlike The Attitude Era it was not must see TV.

Of the two I would say Attitude Era, but I still feel it was overrated. To me it was the 80’s.

The Ruthless Aggression Era had the greatest set of Championship Title Belts in the history of History.
The Attitude Era had the greatest set of everything else in the history of History.
I'm going to go with the Ruthless Aggression Era.
If you're not here for the Championship Title Belts, what are you here for!?

I'm going to have to disagree with you there, although the big "winged eagle" belt was nice, the original winged eagle belt looks better. The big gold belt wasn't as good as the original, and the IC title was terrible and nowhere near as good as the one from 86-97. Same with the US title, the WCW versions were better, especially the main one the used in the 90s. The tag team titles also weren't as good as the previous ones. And the spinner belt was just terrible. The WWE championship that they used in 2002-2004/05??? was pretty good, though.
